Honestly I'd recommend finding out why it's "too long", scanning a card and pressing a "lunch button" shouldn't be taking over a couple of seconds to register and do it properly via the catering system. If there's issues with specs of the server, or finding buttons etc that can all be changed to solve it Steve

Are your clients actually set to get updates from SCCM? When we deployed 365 we had to set the config file to make it managed by SCCM (OfficeMgmtCOM="True" and then under the client settings for Office 365 management in SCCM), otherwise by default it won't go to SCCM for the updates Guessing it's the same for 2019 being built over the same C2R tech. We did it via EES so still have access to KMS/AD, but if you go via CSP I think the only "official" route is the Azure activation (the KMS will still show in VL but it's not licensed as such) In regards to making the changes, it should automatically pull the key from Azure and migrate it across to the subscription model, assuming it has the right base license in the first place, but again this is dependant on exactly what you did to your images etc https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/windows-10-subscription-activation Steve

It's not really speculating, all of these suggestions have been discussed before and they've given reasons why There are dozens of threads regarding the same issue over the last few years (Without waffling it was about the mixed content warnings with vbulletin which most browsers block and manual changes across the masses of data unless re-writing every url etc regarding the loadbalancer etc, but the latest issue was with importing tags into the new provider which was affecting thousands of posts when the last update was posted) I guess all my point is no-one can claim they haven't had answers or responses, it's more just that people don't like the timeline. Is it only on Safari you're getting it, or even in Chrome etc? There were a number of problems with Bluetooth interference after updates (something to do with the way it hotspots for airdrop etc), might be worth temporarily disabling it (properly in system config etc rather than control centre), and seeing if it magically pops back to life. Have you actually installed a separate SQL instance? As that's only showing the BKUPEXEC instance, and you're trying to connect to SQLEXPRESS which would by why it's erroring You'd need to run the SQL Express installer and set that up as a separate one if you didn't want to mix the same instance between both items (Edit - As a side note, it shouldn't mess anything up by just adding a new SQL database into the current instance, so that's another option, but honestly both will work fine for something so small) Steve

I don't know if BT are the same as Virgin, but if you disable that you may also lose access to the public spots on your own account Having it enabled shouldn't affect your own network at all as it normally splits it off (think VLAN wise) so it goes straight out to BT etc rather than on your own network, so really apart from the tiny latency aspect nothing should be affected on your end Steve

SwitchShop is my go-to for anything networking wise But it's always useful to look at the framework for company ideas, as you can see the suppliers who are in the framework even without going through it (unless you want to) Steve

Just a note, but most of the connectors use the connect.ini to point to SIMs, so generally if you update that on the old SIMs server they'll just point to the new one. At least that way you can migrate over, and slowly move connectors as time allows. Done that in a few places previously Steve

That sounds about right. The interactive papers are just designed for software to read/write (as in remove all the random rubbish so a reader understands it). It's down to how the individual uses it in terms of what software you'd use normally, some people just use a reader with it and then the normal paper to write on manually, or if you're writing on it electronically it's down to what you're providing (or at least was last time I used it) Steve

Not sure if it's something you'd consider (or have as an option) but we used to have school phones in places that were let out in a previous school (sports centre etc), and we had the option on the phone to enable a lock-pin to block dial-outs unless you entered the pin Maybe something that your handsets/pbx has?
