We went to a wedding on Saturday,it was brilliant to see and speak to other people. The dj told us to stand next to the person who has made us happiest these past twelve months. The barman nearly got killed.

Light dusting when I got up this morning - just enough to notice really meted everywhere the sun has been - only snow left if where there are shadows

Tried this and it worked fine for where I worked pre 2001 - for public transport also worked well for cycling but when I came to try it for driving it was way over optimistic - even assuming totally clear roads also very optimistic for country roads when I tried it for where I used to work in North Wales - worked fine when the car would go direct to the A55 Expressway but optimistic when you would need to go much distance off the main road

Phone call from OpenReach this morning becasue they are seeing a lot of errors logged on their central server showing problems on my internet connection funny that - my ISP isn't OpenReach kept them on the phone for 10 minutes before I got fed up also got a recorded message a few hours later saying my internte would be cut off due to non payment - press 1 - blah blah blah seems like the landline has got on someone's list

We had snow here this morning and yesterday evening that stuff that is kinda like a ball of snow 1mm across there were about 10-12 visible at any given time - blowing around mostly We were promised (by Met Office) sleet this evening and snow by now - they have gone back on their promise basically just been very cold and windy all day

Oh yes - missed that out - while the doc was doing the jab the lady sorted out the 2nd jab sounds like maybe I will have to wait when mine comes around as Mrs mikeprice doesn't (want to ) drive (her license is so old that it is probably in Latin - and she has never had a phto license - no idea if it is still valid!!! I suspect it is something to do with being asked to drive home from the pub???)

Sooo - resisting going off topic with Cylon comments what I was actually interested in was whether people getting the vacine are asked to wait around for a bit in case of reactions?? ON one of our local social media groups people have been commenting on what happens when you go to the vaccination centre. Most people say they go inside - get jabbed - then have to wait around but when Mrs mikeprice had to go for hers then we went through the drivethough route (indoors was an option but DT was free and seems less risky) We just drove up - a lasy did all the paperwork and went through a talk about what it is etc - took a couple of minutes - then she got the jab and we left no waiting around after - not mentioned at all - just a leaflet saying what to do if there was a problem what have other people found???

OK vaccine done - bleedin' good organisation just arrived in the car - asked whether we want to go to the drive-thru or the walk in opted for drive-thru took about 5 minutes and we were out again - and that includes waiting behind while another car was done (well - I assume it was a person IN the car being vaccinated - before someone goes all pedantic) including an appointment for the 2nd dose in 11 weeks well pleased wonder when I'll get done????

Fri Day is Jab Day for Mrs mikeprice anyway so after it takes I will be much less likely to kill her by kissing or breathing on her Whether or not she kills me for leaving the kitchen cupboard doors open is another matter - is there a vaccine for that?????

Just had a humbling moment there. Have a fella decorating my house - got chatting to him and turns out he's a pilot on furlough. He's taken up work as a decorator to try and pay his mortgage appalling like but he did a great job on the landing.

Great place - apparently people come from all over the place to admire the spire - it is 123m high apparently sure I heard that somewhere on a different note - met with a TA from my old school today they have some kids in - mostly 3 or 4 in each class and the teachers are doing all the lessons on line with a TA in each room helping the kids get logged in and all that stuff except Year 3 - which has 15 kids every day - more than the rest of the school put together (infants is empty due a positive test a few weeks ago) they suspect a group of parents have got together and worked out that if they say they are key workers then the school cannot do anything about it - even though they know they are not!!!

Hi all I have a problem - the headphones I use to watch interesting stuff while Mrs mikeprice is watching CNN or Coronation Street (etc) are getting a bit past it I have resurrected them using about a gallon of superglue but I expect that to only last a short while - especially if the grand-kids come round and find them!! Anyway - I need some new ones Noise cancelling ones would be good - but I'm not prepared to spend loads of money on them and I'm not sure cheaper ones (is £50 reasonable???) actually work judging by reviews on sites and - clearly - I need to get something online - or clikc and collect - so I have limited options to look around and make a judgement SO - I thought I would ask you lot Anyone got any recommendations or 'avoid at all costs' stories???
