I should have mentioned that my annual mileage is normally about 4000 miles last year it was up to nearly 6000 - due to a holiday touring Scotland - including Orkney - and more grand-kid sitting but hence low mileage which makes a difference

OK been going through the MOT report and it says the front tyre are down to 3mm on the inside - not much better on the outside which is below what I am happy with so I had to make a decision thanks to everyone for their input I checked out the reviews and ratings on various sites and finally went for Pirelli best wet grip out of a lot and one of the best fuel economy at the same time plus low noise plus National have an offer on them if you buy 2 or more which brings the price down to just over the costs of the next group down basically if I have an accident with the grandkids in the car then I have to be able to justify the tyres to myself no-one else would judge me - but I would - I know what I'm like so anyway - they are being fitted on Saturday thanks again for the info

Over Christmas we got something - not sure what it was from - which included an Allen key you know metal shiny thing - not easy to dent or bend doesn't tend to react with the air at all quickly quite small supplied in a plastic bag why??? and never mind something we got from The Range which came inside a box well over 10 times bigger than the item and the rest of the spaces was taken up with plastic packaging wonderful

How much are white wall tyres anyway?

I have had a look at some conparititve test and am now even more confused trying to work out whether it is best to go for the best wet grip wet stopping aqua hydro dry grip etc etc etc and all that without knowing if the test they did are even close to what I would want from normal driving (for me) in the UK!

Clearly wet grip is important but some of the big national companies have a rating for this on the websites I presume this is sensible and is a reasonable indication of how well the tyre works in the wet Anyone know if this is correct?

One of the problems with things like this is telling whether this is a spoof or serious difficult to tell on the old interweb these days I mean - it is crazy from every direction but...... I did have a thought (sorry) if they find a way to persuade all the predator to eat chickpeas and lentils and then have to reduce the breeding rates of the rabbits then they will need a system to distribute the conversion system which is clearly what the chem trails are for!!!!

Hello SO the time has finally come Car is in for servicing and MOT and it turns out that I am going to need new front tyres soon OK - for now but low enough that replacing the front ones is probably a good idea current ones have lasted quite a while and were done as an emergency when it turned out that the old ones were illegal - and the garage I used at that time was also a tyre place - so I took what they had available so I have not had to look around for many years - especially as I only do about 4-5000 miles a year so - I can go on e.g. Nation Tyres website and look at wet grip and sound levels and all that but I can still come up with a well known brand (e.g. GoodYear and Pirelli - Michellin seem way more expensive) for about £95 or some other brand for maybe £20 cheaper anyone got opinions on whether or not it is worth going for the cheaper brands - I have always suspected they wear out faster based on 'a feeling' Thanks

Other problem is that if we magically stop everything eating animals e.g. rabbits guess what happens Aussies might want to chip in here or should we combine this campaign with a parallel one to teach rabbits and mice etc etc safe sex and responsible behaviour and maybe the concept of monogamy and Christian values and then lets wonder about wasps who no longer eat aphids but buzz enthusiastically for a soya substitute and then the aphids........ well - we can keep going with problems maybe the contraception industry needs more investment to be able to branch out into other species I wonder how you give every aphid in a garden a pill?? or maybe an IUD would be better - can they consent??? the lengths of silly you can plumb on this one are just endless

But doesn't the projector cable come down from the ceiling?? I have seen a lot of varied cable runs to IWMs but I can;t quite figure that one out especially as the projector is switched off if I was forced to come up with a sensible idea (which is a new concept on here for me!!) the I would say it come down the truncing on the left - from our view - and then left to right under a laminated sheet and across under the bottom of the board because, if I remember correctly - that board had the connection on the bottom right although there were probably a lot of very similar one and their connection varied a lot

Can I just do her a favour and submit a report that the mouse keeps moving when she tries to use the IWB just to save time (which may be why the projector is not switched on - why power it up if it makes the mouse go funny Oh and the fact that it class consists of about 5 kids all of whom are in perfect, neat, clean uniform and are paying attention so not any school I have worked in - or for that matter - any kids I have taught! all points to a picture taken and arranged purely for a promotional thing
