Never had any major problems in 20 years. Some students have e-accounts if they need to use WP's for their exams - they just use PC's in small offices or laptops; e-accounts are locked down to just the apps they require. This year the CiDA exam went well again - they just use a couple of IT Suites which we check over the day before, but the staff are generally good at reporting issues anyway.

Does anyone have a powerhell script that could delete emails from a users mailbox (In-box only) if they are older than X number of days? Cheers

My daughter bought two tickets for the Mumford and Sons gig which was meant to take place in Cardiff last November, they cancelled the event and offered refunds. Unfortunately my daughter has been travelling and with one thing and another missed the cut-off date for requesting a refund. She's still travelling and her sister who is due to go with her is now left with two useless tickets! T's and C's state: 4. You may not resell or transfer your Tickets. Any resale or transfer (or attempted resale or transfer) of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that Ticket without refund or other compensation. You are only permitted to resell your tickets through an approved face value, fan to fan exchange platform. 5. The name of the Lead Booker will be printed on all tickets. The name cannot be changed once the booking has been made. Where more than one ticket has been purchased, each guest in the party must arrive with the Lead Booker at the venue on the night of the show. Failure to do so will result in the guests being turned away. The Lead Booker will need to enter the venue at the same time as their guests. 6. The Lead Booker must provide a valid form of photo ID (original format, no photocopies) matching the Lead Booker name on the tickets if requested to do so. Failure to provide this could result in refusal of admission to the concert. I'd like to see if I can push for a refund even though we're outside the period in which they said refunds would be offered. My question is how legally binding was it for them to only offer a refund within a set period of time. At the time of sale a contract was made, which they then broke, so surely we're entitled to a refund at any point in time after? The new date for the gig is Monday, 10 June !

2016 LTSB here across the site. No issues for several years. Just too busy to even think about an OS upgrade until the summer and then I've a big decision to make I guess - stick with LTSB which has been stable (and not one person has complained about it being different to home! - or jump in to Edu and go very softly softly as we iron out all the idiosyncrasies )

Is there also proxy.[schoolname] ?

Has anyone used this? I'm a bit concerned that in the box to fill in to download the tool it requests your SIMS password - and then saves this password in clear text in a config file that gets downloaded when you download the tool ! Sounds dodgy to me!

I agree, failing that can't you add something to your logon scripts /policies to push out the file if it does n't exist?

The screenshots show it rendered on adjacent PC's - one looks right - the other looks like it's for mobile devices (which has less functionality apparently)

One of our MFL teachers alerted me that this site was not rendering correctly, looking like it was showing for a mobile device rather than a windows PC (any browser) I initially thought (as it was fine on my PC) that it was a user policy, but I've since tested and can't see any rhyme nor reason why it chooses to render wrong. Hi, One SQL is for SIMS. One SQL is for our finance package. I'd rather keep these separate, however our reseller has queried my logic in that we only need two licences! .... from my reckoning you still need the 4 x SQL 2 Core licenses (based on the fact the minimum you can purchase for any single install is 2 x 2 Core and you effectively need 2 x this ? What does this mean?

We moved to Office 365 recently and our bursar has just reported : "Since changing the email system the budget holders and us appear not to be receiving alerts of requisitions and orders being raised for approval and processing." Totally our fault in not updating things in PSF to change from our on-prem email solution to the new Office 365 settings. PSF Support advise: 1. Within Accounting please go to Masters > Ledgers > Parameters and then amend the emailport and emailserver section. 2. Within Document emailer and Remittance Emailer please click on the ​ icon, make the amendments and then click save. 3. Within Sentinel Admin please click on the 'options' tab and you will need to amend the SMTP Server and Username and password if one has been entered. I presume 1 and 2 need to be done per workstation & per user? WRT 3, will I need to create a new AD account (say School Name Sentinel), sync that with O365 and then use those account details in the sentinel settings?

So to clarify on the Server licences. Either Datacenter on each host? OR Standard licence x 3 on each host?
