I've had no issues here with KMS - how many clients are you trying to activate?

Get my handicap down to 6! Big ask as last year I went down from 10 to 8 - there just gets less and less margin for error....

Hi, Are you joining two secondary school's together?

So I'm 49 this week! Eeek. As a keen golfer I'm going to be looking to organise a few golf related activities for my 50th, but as it's not a great time of the year to get all my fair-weather mates out so I'll be waiting to do something in the summer. But, should I do it next summer, as it's my 50th year or should I be waiting until 2020 when I am actually 50! I know there are no "rules" - but what would you do? (if you played golf!)

Office 365 pros (and cons) over Mdaemon on-prem email solution.
kennysarmy replied to kennysarmy's topic in Cloud Services
Thanks - you raise some interesting points. Food for thought. All our teaching staff, students and admin staff emails are all processed by Mdaemon - I think I prefer the option of keeping everything in one place, be that on-prem or cloud. We are paying around £1,400 a year for Mdaemon licences for the product and Security Plus. We're going to need the Office 365 single sign on bit setup here anyway for a new Firefly VLE and e-Praise system....seems like a good time to also make the leap to the MS Email solution. -

Thanks for the replies so far. -
As title. What are the main pros and cons in migrating from an on-prem (MDaemon) email provision to the MS Office 365 cloud offering? My on-prem is very stable, everyone knows how to use it and we're unaffected by internet outages when sending internal mail. It can also be access from anywhere like Office 365. A good pro for Office 365 is the much bigger mail-box sizes available.

And those screaming for compensation just because they had a day of inconvenience...with no real monetary loss.

It appears my texts do get sent - but they say failed to send for me....odd.

I was fed up with all the moaning on the Giff Gaff forum I posted this : I woke up this morning and could nt' take my morning selfie and post it to faceagram! I could n't use my maps app to find my way to the bathroom so I've been unable to wash or have a s**t - it's now 11 am and things are getting desperate! Anyway, eventually I found my way to the trainway statation, but work could n't send me an important file so my wife has divorced me and all 12 of my children are in hospital today and I won't know when to collect them. Giff Gaff - my life is ruined and it's all your fault. When will you refund me the last 12 years of goodybags as compensation? Yours hopefully, (lost in the Cotswolds somewhere) J

Xerox copier quality - anyone using these models?
kennysarmy replied to kennysarmy's topic in Hardware
Yes it was as near like for like as we could get between the brands. Print quality in the attached test prints was high quality. Same paper in each test. Toner, we have written in to the contract that they supply original toners only. I know this is just a photo of the two test prints, but you can see there is a real colour difference between these prints. One is from our small admin office with a Xerox C405DN and the other is from a Xerox C8030 which we have in our corridors. -
Our managed print contract came to an end in the summer and our Sharp devices were replaced by Xerox. We have the following models on site: Mainly Xerox C8030's in large areas and Xerox C405DN's in smaller rooms We have a pair of Xerox C8055's in our staffroom Offices have Xerox B405's I'm being alerted by staff that they believe the quality of print and copying is much worse than the previous Sharp's. I'm wondering if anyone is using any of the above devices and if so could you let me know?
