WE have to logon to our Meraki portal and create a guest user; we enter their name and email address and it generates a random password. A password sheet can be printed off and handed to the guest. I'd like our reception team to do this, but apparently it should not fall under their remit as it's and IT issue....!!!

I'm wondering is going from 16Gb storage to 32Gb storage going to be enough? How much extra data is consumed by the upgrade phone and the higher spec? Should I bite the bullet and go for 64Gb and thus future proof it a bit more OR will 32Gb give me enough usable space for my apps?

Simples - my electric trolley has an umbrella holder!

Looks good...but huuuggge - I've only got average sized hands (at best) not sure I'd be able to reach across a screen that size with my right thumb!

The 5.1 on Carphonewarehouse only has 16Gb storage - the 7.1 camera looks very good and has 32 gb - stretching my budget to 299 but it comes with a blue-tooth speaker that might be handy

Thanks, do you find much camera lag when taking outside photos in decent light?

Hi all, My Huwawe P8 lite 2017 has only 16gb internal storage and is starting to limit what I can keep installed app wide, there is a microSD card fitted for photos etc, but still the internal storage keeps alerting me that it's almost full I'm on giff-gaff, as is the rest of the family. I'm looking at what I've can upgrade to, research is pointing me to a Moto G6 plus. Has anyone got any views? Not looking to pay more than £250 and I'd put camera quality up as one of my main requirements. I play golf once a week and do like to take course shots and videos. Any input appreciated.

How do you count? -
Believe me, there is nothing! We had an incident where attendance marks were altered, edited, wiped out - all inadvertently and we never got to the bottom of who did what and when...

That age old problem...

Doing some housekeeping and spotted a few files in our Netlogon folder : Config.pol = last updated 1999! ntconfig.POL = last updated 2008! There are also some older folders dating back to 2014: All Users Default Default User Default User . renamed profiles -
So the guidance from Firefly regarding staff who are parents is: If you have teachers that are also parents, they need to be taken out as a parent on the student's profile. You should then add them back in, but when going through this select New and make sure that you use a personal email when going through the contact creation on the next screen. Our Data Manager states this is bad practice: Well duplicating contacts in a database is not good practice. When I run housekeeping routines SIMS will attempt to merge these contacts because there shouldn't be duplicated contacts. Also whenever you run the diagnostics routine, it will now come up as an error for every single person who is duplicated. I have always been advised by SIMS support not to duplicate contacts. However, if that is what you want me to do then I will. But please do not include these errors from duplicated contacts on your SIMS diagnostics reports which you ask me to look at and fix. What have others done regarding this?

In the summer I emailed Adobe for a quote as we only have 250 licences for CS6 and going forward 300 CC licences might suit us best: This was the quote: Product- All Apps Device License Single Device License- £ 21.12/ year 300 Device Licenses- £ 6336/ year Not exactly encouraging schools to use their software! This apparently was an "offer" price that I had to take up before Aug 31st 2018 I asked what the price would be for subsequent years if there was no "offer" and was told they had no idea, but if there was no "offer" the cost would revert to: £75,888! (GBP 252.96/ yr per seat!)
