We have around 12 out of 1350!

We're expecting 80 out of 1350 on Monday!

We are just getting to grips with TEAMS. I've allowed all staff the ability to create Teams and have noticed the departmental ones they have created are now appearing in the global address book. For example we now have scidept@ (which is our email generated one) and science@ (which has been created due to a Science Team being created) How can I hide or get rid of the Teams email and stop it from being created in the future?

Found it. It's under Video -> Portal Settings.

Actually looks like if the test student creates a new "channel" then it can be seen by everyone!

Yes, I added all my staff to the Group Creators AD group.

I'm upskilling myself quite rapidly this week as you can imagine! I've just logged on as a test student to ensure everything I'm implemented for staff stays invisible to the students. I've noticed when students go to the "Video" app then choose "Browse Channels" that they see one called "Oftsed" - not sure how or when this was created but how can I find out and hide or delete it? I can't find any reference to it in any Admin centres? Thanks

How long does it typically take from giving the TEAMS licence to allow users to be able to create their own TEAMS?

I'm wondering if I've got this issue too. new to TEAMS setup. Now setting up TEAMS for all our staff. Given them access to the app via O365, created a test TEAM and can add staff to it. Can't seem to work out how to give staff the permission to create their own TEAMS? Do they also require Sharepoint access? Thanks.

I'd say we have at least 70-80 students home or on their way home out of around 1350. I expect by the end of the week this will be in the 100's! If the staff are off at the same rate I guess we can stay open...

Our flights to Portugal (FARO) have just been cancelled.

Your Golf Travel who we've booked with are not prepared to offer refund or even a postponement because flights to Faro are still going ahead and hotel open!!!! No. I've only just signed up for GSuite - been told it can take 2-3 weeks to get Education approval!! AFAIK you don't need a google account to get on half of all websites (?)

Similar talks going on here. We use Firefly for our VLE which will do most of what we need for distance learning alongside access to staff for the students via Email. However, I've been asked to investigate how easy it would be to create a school YouTube channel so if required staff could upload "help" videos to alongside their Firefly content. It looks as though a single YouTube Channel, when a YouTube content owner is created for the organisation, one user serves as the administrator for the content owner, the administrator can then invite other users to manage content for the content owner and assign content management permissions. Presumably though every user contributing would need their own YouTube logon? Can I batch create some or would I need to perhaps do ONE per department? Thoughts?

I've quickly imaged a virtual PC with just the 1903 Edu version with a standard task sequence in MDT and OneDrive seems to work OK - so it must be something I'm doing during the deployment OR I've missed something that's breaking it when I add it to the domain. Annoying!
