  1. On the tweet, which I thought was where DaveP picked it up from.
  2. Don't read the comments... I'll précis - "That's fake! Mars looks like a dot from Earth; how can it be so big?" Obviously never heard of the concepts of 'magnification' or 'telephoto lens'. Or in fact 'reading the description'.
  3. Much more likely to be the time characteristic of the breaker giving you problems. If you look at the thing, it will say something like B20A. The B indicates how long it waits before tripping. Try to get it downrated (only allowed if you have a good earth) to a C type. The other thing to be sure of; is it an RCBO? (Over current AND earth leakage) If it is, it will have a "Test" button as well as the switch. The leakage currents in those PSUs could easily add up to close to 30mA and that is the current where the breaker must open. Many will open at 20mA. Again, you could downrate this, if everything else is good. I'd guess that if you put a earth leakage breaker in line, they'd both trip simultaneously, and you'd learn nothing.
  4. Brilliant stuff there...
  5. Funny; I didn't even notice Leia was CGI. I assumed it was footage that came from the 1970's shoots, edited to fit this film.
  6. Rouge 1 at the cinema. Ho-Hum - It was a Star Wars movie; pushed those buttons, but... (Couldn't help but speculate that Carrie Fisher watched it on her flight, and had her heart attack when she saw herself in it as she was all those years ago) Monsters University on TV the other eve. Properly funny.
  7. Ahh, my mistake. It is actually worth thruppence.
  8. You can't? You've obviously not had much dealing with the Insurance Weasels. Give them ANY excuse and they won't pay out. Their reason for existing is to make money for their share holders, not to protect you.
  9. Bit of both really...
  10. Called the Euro isn't it?
  11. Oh, oh "Spot the ball" Do I win?
  12. Not sure if it would come in on budget...
  13. No doubt they will claim "it is to increase consumer choice", whereas, in fact, it is to enable corporate investors to asset strip and sell off Openretch. (No necessarily a bad thing based on their level of competence)
  14. Turkey - Thanksgiving. That is all.
  15. They need to change the bulb, or clean the lens.
  16. And not all that much room in the cabin. I'm 6', and a colleague had one. I fitted, but it certainly wasn't roomy.

    Oops..

I suspect they have some very inventive ways of dealing with what might be considered "evidence".

    Oops..

Mrs_Cs ex works for NHS IT. I can believe it...
  19. I seem to recall a thread where some were saying that the BBC didn't produce anything worth watching...
  20. Do you know what indicators are for? No - buy it Yes - don't buy it
  21. That's not a family walk; there are no sulking kids suffering from "gadget" withdrawal.
  22. I passed the buck. I don't know where it has gone either I'm afraid!
  23. You know; chocolate bars have been getting smaller for so long, they ought to have disappeared completely by now.
