  1. Haha @Little-Miss ... sounds like you had fun!!
  2. I agree with this ...
  3. Brilliant, thanks all ... gotta say it's the first time I've been to London without any guidance from people that know where they're going. We own a Coach Company and I have been to London many times but maybe I should have paid a bit more attention, and this time I don't particularly want to bring Dad with me this time as my personal SatNav
  4. As it seems alot of you have experience of London, at least a lot more than me anyway, was wondering if I could as some advice? I now have a hotel booked for me and my friend, were staying at the Travelodge in the Docklands, which is only a short walk to Canning Town Station. So was going to walk from the hotel to the ExCel. My question that I need to ask is how to get from City to the Docklands and vice-versa, as whilst I am here I want to do some site seeing etc, but also I am either catching the Train to Paddington or the Bus to Victoria. As I have heard about some maintenance work etc I don't want to get confused. Cheers Tom
  5. Hi All, Thought this might be of interest for anyone that is teaching GCSE ICT or something. Interactive diagram showing components of a motherboard. Intel® Desktop Board DH61CR Interactive Layout Cheers, Tom

  6. Ha, I'm not going to be that lucky unfortunately. But I am brining a friend with me which is good ... does anyone know how I can obtain a ticket for someone that isn't an IT professional of any kind?
  7. I'm hoping to go up on the Firday to BETT and then spend Saturday and Sunday in London, and make it a nice weekend away ... much needed. Just got to find a reasonable hotel and train tickets :/
  8. Also ... since it's been broke I've only charged it via the computer .... do you think doing by the wall might help, as in earthing it I presume? Tom
  9. Hi Dan, Cheers for the reply ... I have tried earthing it and it didn't make the slightest difference and it sounds the same which ever way I try. Cheers Tom
  10. Hopefully there is somebody here that could help me. I have an iPod Classic that I have owned for a few years. Over about a year ago it threw up a problem where the sound coming out of it was crackly and distorted. When the problem occurred I thought it was the headphone jack so replaced this but didn't cure the problem. The sound is also the same if I play it through a lead out of the bottom of the iPod into a AUX on a stereo. After doing some Googling this leads me to believe that it is static build up in the logic board, if that sounds feasible? (Anyone with any past experience)? ... Does anybody know if it is possible to somehow dissipate this static build up?? I might sound silly, but just want my baby working again ... This is an 80GB, but Apple now only makes the 160GB which is £200 brand new ... Many thanks for any help that you may be able to give. Merry Christmas Tom
  11. My family own a coach company and I am in the process of gaining my PCV (been driving around the yard since I was 12, just being lazy which is why I haven't passed yet) ... this will automatically cover me to drive the school minibus, which may be handy at some point ... but the problem is that I have to be 21 to take MIDAS, which apparently is something that our insurance require us to have.
  12. Almost 20, still single, so surprise surprise no kids. Would absolutely love to one day ... but had better get myself settled down first lol
  13. SWGfL here .... and working fine
  14. If it helps you can use the official GMail app from Google, works perfectly for us as I presume it must use https ... also they have redesigned it and much better than how it was before, also now supports multiple accounts! )
  15. So it is ... thank you both. I wasn't told the make of the piano and was in too much of a rush to look. Will show them where to purchase
  16. Not strictly IT ... but due to the general misconception that we are responsible for everything with a plug this is actually a cable from a Piano. The manufacturers have been cancelled and they don't reckon that it would be difficult to get. Does any body know what the connection below would be called in the hope that we can buy and make a new cable. Cheers Tom
  17. This is my pride and joy: I'm 19 and have wanted one for ages but due to being an apprentice couldn't justify it. In September, once I was qualified and put on a better paid contract I decided to loan the money and reward myself for the hard work the I had put in. I also own Maria: She is my other and more important pride and joy. She was my first car, but have owned her since I was 12. She was in a worse state than that when I got her and have spent quite a bit of money on her and in my opinion looks pretty good, most of the work was carried out by myself and as a result of that I now have a very good understanding of mechanics .. so a really good thing to get my teeth into at a young age. She has been in the garage for quite a while now as I took her off the road and got something a little more sensible for the travelling that I was doing. Since then she has had even more money spent on her to make her even better.
  18. I have ...... thank you @VeryPC !!
  19. I'm not 100% sure but I think you can buy the little connectors to crimp onto the end of wire and then push into the correct place in the block connector to correspond with the stereo.
  20. The same happened to mine a few months ago when I dropped it on a brick paved drive. Apple also quoted me the same price. I have looked into doing myself .. its didn't look very easy, but manageable, I just wouldn't be comfortable. I would rather pay the £200 and have a new one than have a stab myself and then break the iPad even more and not have one at all :/
  21. It would ..... So lets say I create a WinPE Boot disc, what would I put on the pen drive?
  22. Bit of an odd question ... but does anybody know if it is possible to put our custom install wim onto a DVD or such. Unfortunately we have a batch of laptops that refuse to load using WDS ... but if I can would like to use our custom WIM and unattend.xml to load the machine manually? Cheers Tom
  23. I want one as well!
  24. On the hoover front I'm either thinking about the LIDLs one or looking at an Earlex Combivac ... I have heard very good reviews and have seen a few valet companies using them. Anyone have any first hand experience?
  25. Yeah I had heard that. And that is very true, I can't say that I had thought of that! Well ... If I'm honest I have got my AutoGlym bag absolutely stuffed full of products. When I'm giving it a proper polish I can't say I'm that bad ... I usually polish, then use use AG Super Resin and then a wax .. does take a while though! The first time I did it I gave it a clay as well and it came out looking stunning tbf. How often do you polish yours etc? I try and wax my car at least every week and apply wax after every time I wash it. I've done the whole polish thing twice since I've had it though lol. I think I do it because I just love the beading when it rains haha lol :L
