Thanks for this. Our equipment vendor says it's okay to use rechargeables and that they should be okay for a couple of months which is what we want.

I need to purchase a lot of 9v batteries for use in motion sensing equipment. Alkaline 9v Duracells are expensive at £3.50 a go. Does anyone else use this access control package? We've discovered that when there's a fire alarm, the software can't wake certain printers that have gone in to power saving mode to print the attendance lists for the fire drill roll call. Paxton know about it but say their package is working as it should :-/ Found this on the web: How to wakeup a sleeping network printer - Printers - Computer-Peripherals Fortunately the HP printer we use has an option to turn off power saving in the driver so we're waiting to test that it works now. Has anyone else come across this?

Hi, Does anyone know how to do a factory reset on an Olivetti PGL2045 B/W Laser Printer? By factory reset I do mean a total reset as the web interface was used to disable the LPT1 & USB ports, as well as the display panel on the system, as a security measure. We can now no longer get in to it via the web interface as we've discovered what I think is a bug because the moment DHCP gives it one of our xxx.xxx.005.xxx 255.255.240.000 addresses it doesn't like it. Powering off for long periods, reserving an IP address, etc, have no effect. Can't find much on Google other than one trick going in through the parallel port but as it's disabled we can't do that

We're using CLOUDON and Dropbox.

I've had a similar problem in our new build but with ceiling mounted projectors. We got the projector-shakes when people walked down the corridors, slammed doors, or when heavy lorries drove past. Better quality projector brackets and mounts that we insisted our supplier fit at their expense has lessened the problem. Periodically we make sure all the nuts are tight. :-/
