CPC for me they were great and once you find a make of kit you like you may find your regular IT vendor can also get the kit at the same or better price.

Agree with suggestions for Nationwide was very happy with them and the support offered.

Your Fire Alarm may do this if its a modern one we got rid of the sessional bell at my last place and the just wired the programmer for it into the Fire Alarm and they sounded a different tone for 10 seconds.

You should check they are approved you can get very random behaviour from non compliant kit (we speak from experience of people not doing as told and then moaning its "not working right"!) Have you tried with a USB headset to rule out its not a phone firmware bug? Microsoft publish a list of approved devices and they have 2 levels of compatibility, the stuff that is sort of approved can be a PITA (we tested one of the new Polycom VVX handsets with Lync Firmware and it was tosh it "worked" but so limited and so many glitches and stupidities it went back in the box and we will continue with the Polycom CX range which run Lync Phone Edition and just work (however they do have a tendency to have fault hook switches in our ones on-site which randomly die but do usually die closed not open). For your busy try unticking all the Exchange / Lync integration from the settings menu and see if that fixes your "busy" issue.

Did you install using the HP Install tools and have run the HP SPP afterwards to ensure its got all the drivers and software on it?

I used a good number of the in-wall amps from this firm - CIE-Group - Suppliers of Bluetooth compact mono and stereo amplifiers in my last place, seemed good things and I see they have got even more options now with Bluetooth modules on some of them!

Are you using approved headsets / phones? The Busy is not a fault that is by design it is integrating into exchange and you have appointments where your status is "busy" in the meeting setting and thus S4B picks that up, you need to manage calendars better to not have this issue, we had to go through this several times with core users doing large invites to events as "busy" as it impacts response groups impact in specific setups if you are "busy" but not actually busy.

Do you have any snapshots on the VM? If so throw them away or consolidate them VMware doesn't like you playing with it with Snapshots hanging about

I have the 930 and love it had the 920 before it and yes its a little larger and more square but very nice. Work wise we are rolling out 640s to lots of people, the one office that has them already is very pleased with them already which is good news

Never saw that with any of ours and ours suffered a major building project so lost power frequently in areas (very annoying!) but never had any issues with the switches at all.

I had that on some Asus boards years ago it only stopped when we turned WOL off which was unhelpful to us but the only way to keep the things off.

Indeed the Juniper stuff that I had for my core was Virtual Chassis so we had 3 on one site and 2 on the other stacked together in a virtual chassis and was great well worth a look at. If you are open to options also look at Juniper... @Net-Ctrl did a great setup in my last place with the Juniper switches and cost of that kit was not anywhere near as bad as anyone though it would be it beat HP and Cisco price wise at the time

Just blow it all away and start again with a clean 1 partition drive plus the usual 300mb one they give out with Windows its what most people do anyway to get rid of all the extra crudware they pack on them...

We looked at it for TMG replacement and wrote it off, its too basic and not flexible enough and are now evaluating the Kemp appliance which they helpfully suggest as a TMG replacement.

It needs some EduShades to shield its eyes from the sun perhaps?

We have one written in perl here that isn't running on Windows 10 it just sticks, however it had started being a bit stick on Win 7 sometimes but a log off / on fixed that but on my Win 10 PC it doesn't run anytime or manually. We are looking to move away from it to GPP as all it did was some drive mapping based on memberships which now GPP exists means its redundant (script is VERY old and no one has ever bothered to replace it when GPP came out to have the ability to look at Security Groups to map extras's based on that)
