Indeed we did, we got a lot of seats for Impero when I was up the North and got some good pricing on that it was however a few years ago and as @timbo343 says it took tooing and frowing and emails etc.. so was quite labour intensive but we did get a good deal at that time and lots of schools got Impero

Its scary how much of UK NHS is still on XP, a Drs I go to I die a little inside when I see my records are being accessed on an XP PC and then to make it worse they were on a TS the other visit to get to some other system and that was 2003 This is a VERY wealthy NHS trust as well so can imagine how poorly the small rural ones are doing when this is funded in a large affluent area of London

Sounds like Point and Print restrictions for driver signing / installation In Group Policy > Computer Configuration> Policies > Administrative Templates > Printers Set the option for Point and Print Restrictions to Disabled

We replaced FOG with MDT in all of our offices globally, FOG has a place and back when it was first put in it was the best free tool out in the wild (much nicer than RIS and the pain that was!) but things move on times change etc.. and MDT is really good for free tool and can give you a nice step to System Centre (which is our next step)

Would suggest you talk to some good Microsoft Education License specialsit to work out what you need as you sound like you have some wrong info. I hear good things about the Millgate guys on here for Licensing

I agree with SEP where I am has also just about had it Kaspersky is where we will be going to all being well part of us has already done this so just us to our side to go now when we get funds approved and the time.
