We are used to this, 2012 R2 support took forever as did 2012..... We hoped given they supported the U1 for them quite quickly (but most people didn't spot that they needed a patch to be officially supported on 2012 R2 U1) so they are sneaky. Expect SP3 to have it in at a guess but maybe wrong.

Put it on my laptop and its a bit, well i dunno, different, they have modded Outlook but cannot quite put my finger on it bar it liked to hide the ribbon away first time. Skype for Business they have hidden away useful things like Polls and Whiteboards under a "more" option which isn't helpful, Skype animated emotes funny but really its S4B.... its also incredibly blue! Wonder if Excel's performance is back to the Office 2010 level however as our Finance team have struggled with 2013 Excel its a lot slower when doing massive re-calculations and working with epic amounts of data as they do compared to 2010. Also Lync Meetings are now "Skype Meetings" so that will confuse people going I need Skype so I can imagine this will be fun for people outside our company we invite to Lync meetings they will panic its Skype and have concerns over "security" of it and that mumbo jumbo

Like all things MS you have the MS recommended way and reality, and it does depend on what your doing with it etc.... If you installed System Centre like they did you'd have a full rack of 8 CPU boxes just for it but it will run on an old crappy desktop so you know take with usual MS pinch of salt.

Uum not 100% sure your going to have some messing as you have the virtual vCentre Shut everything down first completely in terms of VMs I'd say and then look to re-IP the VMware hosts and other physical boxes along with your switches, gateway etc... and then you will probably have to laptop and get into the storage and sort it out and then you can put its IPs for the initiators into vmware and go from that point. and then start to get the VMs re-turned back on and go from that point.

Could you not do it via Transport Rules and details stored in AD? We did that at the school to met LA Compliance at the time all staff emails had to state who they were, position and school so we just ensured AD was up to date and stuck it on a transport rule as internally was fine but as soon as it went out it got stuck on and all was well.

Other option is its HDD going so you can swap it for a new one About ExPVR - The Sky+ & Sky+ HD Recording Copier - pH-Mb this software is great, runs on your PC and sorts it all out, I did a white Sky+ to new Sky+ HD box for my parents no lost data or anything they were chuffed and I'll be doing mine to a decent sized disk rather than the tiny one in my HD box. The forum also has recommended disks to use in your box.

Yep very happy with Ruckus been a happy user of it for over 10 years in 4 places of work and still rolling it out now globally where I work Always used @Net-Ctrl as my vendor the support and service is top notch never faulted them.

Also find and decline all the Itanium updates as these are bundled in with the OS rather than separate unless you have Itanium kit which is highly unlikely that will fish a load of space back.

Something is locking the account out, service using an old password perhaps? Malicious user trying to guess the password, badly configured script? If its setup right you can dig through event logs to narrow it down a bit to a device that is doing it hopefully.

You say its brand new so why isn't it under RMA back to Dell or the reseller straight away?

Anyone know a good host that uses Plesk for management of reseller hosting as I hate CPanel but love Plesk and long term I cannot see the new owners continuing with Plesk
