New HP ones I've done this year are UFEI as they support that on the G9 platform done 2012 R2 and UFEI VMware 5.5 without any issues.

MS do Core and Enterprise CAL Packs and Bundles with OS upgrades for Commercial use as well just a different name and many more $0's in the cost

That is the tool of choice use it on lots of VMs that people didn't put data on 2nd volume to make 30GB C's bigger

Your other option @LeMarchand could be get the 920 it will get WP10 as well its been on the list for a long time for it and I know some folks running the beta / previews via the Insider program and its a great handset and a sensible price.

I've got a fleet of 640s out in our Europe and Asia offices and reports from staff are good they like them and are getting used to them. They will get WP10 MS have promised and indicated they will be one of the first of the WP8.1 handsets to get the upgrade so don't worry. However you need to remember the 950 and 640XL are 2 different generations of hardware and system so its like comparing the iPhone 6S and 6 or maybe a 5s. I am starting to look at the 550s for our UK deployment now they are out rather than 640 as they have WP10 OOB which will be a plus as you get a lot more InTune control with WP10 than 8.1 but having tried the beta and preview stuff of WP10 on a Lumia 920 its a bit qwerky at times so not sure if I can risk that with our deployment so may stick with the older and then work on upgrades to WP10 in due course. I have the 930 and its a lovely handset really well made and a great product, so I'd consider a 950 myself but its about £200 over-priced Microsoft have turned into Apple it seems with that new product so won't be getting one as I cannot afford one and the 930 is just so good still so no point.

Unless something has changed you can put the exact URL in for the individual games which you can find from the logs quite easily thus just opening them, we had to do something like that years ago as a site did some physics stuff and used miniclip for the games but they were semi-educational for once.

London has good transport and so far no planned DLR issues on that weekend so the roller-coaster will take you right to the doors of ExCeL... Hotel wise, all the ones round ExCeL are usually a total rip off, the geeks stay somewhere usually on the DLR and close to London as ExCeL isn't the best spot for any form of night life (by that we mean food and drink other than the hotel bars and the venues run by people as part of the ExCeL complex). Travellogde's are usually good value around London, Tune Hotels are another chain of cheap (but watch out you pay for everything including a towel!). So don't be scared of travelling about a bit it really isnt too bad and with the opening time of BETT you just miss the commuter crush, by 8:30 / 9am its getting much quieter (I commute past the routes to ExCeL daily) so don't worry too much

Can you look at the logs, find the URLs for those exact games and then put them in an allow list to go above your block?

Indeed very sad times for them I have many friends work live and work in the town all have had such awful time with it its awful and just before Christmas as well (not that any other time would be better but still!)

Irony when one of the main roads into campus has that underpass which looked more like Lancaster Uni outdoor swimming pool..... The uni still has no power to most of its site and we are now at Tuesday, suspect some of that maybe strategic given they have shut up shop for Christmas but still poor students who need flights home etc

Nope the Uni had no power either hence they shut up shop early! If you go back to its Twitter from Saturday and Sunday its all no electric so not sure what the windmill does but clearly doesn't provide power for light, heat, phones, boilers etc....

We had something similar and just did it in an encrypted stick once every half term it was someting LA initiated at the time so had to do it.

We have many Techy events just not Edu ones, such as IP Expo & UC Expo to name two ive attended & HPE have just had a multi-day event showcasing lots of things (huge due to the HPE split) so they do exist. Speaking from the other side BETT is great from a business side we use several EduGeek suppliers where I work and the are grand

They are quite comfy, one of our Europe office has got very similar racing seat style chairs and I did enjoy sitting in it and working however I was at my laptop so wasn't the best test for long time use really.

Yammer had issues that was all that was down so it shows on mine... I am sure we will be following up with MS in our monthly call with our account rep as its been badly communicated for sure and MS would love us to use the cloud more but when you cannot get a status page without it working its a bit naff...

But with your setup you describe should host 1 die your replicated VMs to bring up won't come up and be useful as they have no network access. Both hosts need to be setup identically to give you the HA you are suggesting you want and then you need to set replication to go over a VLAN / those NICs with fibre if they are directly connected to each other.

Handsets is always the bugbare, my suggestion for speed and simplicity is stick to the fully certified ones that run Lync on them such as Polycom CX300,600 etc... these just work if you plug the USB in to a PC which the user uses. The compatible ones such as the Polycom VVX are just awful, got a VVX here for testing and its back in its box it was that bad, however the Snom range of phones is nice and I do like them and have a Snom on my desk now and its great has hot keys for dialing etc out of the box so goes great for those trying to replace a traditional digital handset for users who cannot cope with the S4B client on the PC. Our standard procedure is just a Lync Certified headset for all users and if they need a phone to ask for it but most don't bother.
