In the worst case you could import a machine and add the VHD file as a drive.

You have to have them domain joined for live migrations to work as it uses Kerberos for authentication, you can do it via certificates but I have never done this.

Yeah, no joy with OSK unfortunately. I was connecting through Screen Connect... Doesnt work via RDP either. I just cant get the sequence through to a machine on Italc.

Im connecting to the remote VM via Screen Connect. Sending the shortcut doesnt work which is a shame.

Tried it ALT-GR via OSK asks me to click on my user tile :S... Ctrl Alt + Del locks my main screen. Sigh.

Ill go and try hat now, i may be having issues due to the fact that the machine running Italc is on a VM.

Hi all, Have installed Italc 3, great program. Only one problem as far as I can see. sending CTRL, ALT + DEL. How does one achieve this ? currently I have italc running in a Win 10 'Master' Workstation. If I remote into the workstation through RDP I can't seem to send the 3 finger salute to machines in Italc. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have been approached by a non-profit organisation, they have a MAPS subscription so have A version of Exchange they can install. Said org would like Outlook to work external to the network. I believe this will need autodiscover to work. BUT... Doesn't that mean they will need SSL Certs ? Will autodiscover work without / Self-Signed certificates on Exchange 2013 ? If it will work are there any guides around on how to set up a self signed ? Thanks all.

Hi all Could do with a bit of assistance. I had a network monitoring tool installed on a server (Yes i know bad practice). I have removed it and it's left my server unable to display web pages. If I open IE or Chrome I get page cannot be displayed. Went to check proxy settings and low and behold it is greyed out. THere are no GPO's set and there is nothing in the registry that would point to a proxy server being set but my settings are greyed out. I'll attach some screenshots. Server version is 2016. Any ideas on how I can re-enable this option as I think this is the problem. Thanks

We have large companies in which we use SCCM/MDT etc etc. Just our smaller companies that we manage dont have this sort of functionality. We do have Acronis which the Secure Zone idea came from but thats not going to work.

We dont have that sort of solution at all of our client sites, we manage companies some of them are small. Servers are not always on site to use WDS/MDT etc. Yes RAID is ideal in servers, but not on desktops.

Im more thinking about this from our end client point of view to be honest. Alot of desktops now have this port on board. Usually these machines are single drive. Having a USB recovery environment might not be a bad idea in that sense. Password protected of course. Acronis can do this, put the SZ on the main drive - F11 to start recovery manager. Restore an image. Problem is though if the hard drive fails.

No, with Acronis it can be scheduled. When/If the disk gets full it will just delete the old backup and start a new one. Just playing with this now, you could use to put safe zone on an external disk but seems thats not the case on the latest version, I was hoping for safe zone to be activated from a usb by pressing F11 on bootup. Then recover the image form the Secure Zone. Not so lol.
