  1. We had one like this come in a few weeks ago for a new motherboard it was all custom made... I had to image it as it had a custom version of XP on it and about a million and 3 games on it. They all looked quite good. Had a built in Juke Box too. The OS was just XP but it had a particular name which I cant remember now. Ill dig out the image. NB: Found it - this is the one it was running. Maximus Arcade:
  2. One of my daughter that was one last weekend....Little poser.
  3. ok, I forgot to create the RAID after the install not letting this problem happen. Apparently that partition is created on any disk marked as Disk 0. Ill give that a try but I dont see it working.
  4. Hi all, Ive made a boo boo. I created a RAID in a new server then proceeded to install windows on the 500gb single hard disk... during the install... Windows... In all of its wisdom has put the system reserved on the 1TB RAID drive that I have created. Not ideal, if the RAID fails the system wont boot. Anyway of moving that darn partition without having to reinstall everything ? Thanks
  5. One I took at Edinburgh Zoo
  6. thats what Im doing ive changed the PPTP client IP side to 10.1.1.1 on 24 mask... PPTP server is 192.168.1.1 /24. The VPN Server has created its own DHCP address for the VPN connection I think
  7. Its like this DRAYTEK 2830 (PPTP Server) LAN= 192.168.1.0 /24 Routing Table: C~ 192.168.1.11/ 255.255.255.255 directly connected VPN-1 C~ 192.168.1.0/ 255.255.255.0 directly connected LAN1 S~ 10.1.1.0/ 255.255.255.0 via 192.168.1.11 VPN-1 Draytek 2925 (PPTP Client) LAN= 10.1.1.0 /24 Routing Table: C~ 192.168.1.1/ 255.255.255.255 directly connected VPN-1 S~ 192.168.1.0/ 255.255.255.0 via 192.168.1.1 VPN-1 C~ 10.1.1.0/ 255.255.255.0 directly connected LAN1 I can ping 192.168.1.11 on both sides.
  8. From the router that is the client side its on a 10.*.*.* network, from the router itself if I ping 192.168.1.10 (example IP of PC sat on VPN) I can ping it... But I cant ping the VPN Servers IP (192.168.1.1)
  9. CHanged to ROute instead of NAT on client and can ping a PC on the server side, but cant ping the Server side Routers LAN Address...
  10. Yep, I found a guide that specifically said set the client to NAT Can soon be changed I guess.
  11. Hi all, Im looking for some help with someone who knows drayteks better than I do. Heres the down low... I have 2 Drayteks... I have setup a LAN-TO-LAN PPTP VPN. Which is connected and up. From PPTP Server (Draytek 2830) the VPN has the IP of 192.168.1.13. Which I cant ping from either side. Both routers show each others networks in the routing table. The VPN Client (2925) shows that 192.168.1.1 is via .13. which should be all well and good but cant ping anything from client side to server side. Client is set to NAT on VPN profile, Server side is set to Routed on VPN profile. Why cant I route over the VPN and talk to anything ? Thanks in advance
  12. Hi all, Has anyone got any of the following RAID cards kicking around that I could kindly purchase ? Dell PERC H700. Much appreciated! Thanks.
  13. Now for the next problem:
  14. Right, Laptop - Switch - UPS... found the IP of the card. Now logged in.
  15. Well we have inherited the AP6917, so it might of been setup by one of our old teccies a few years back but details have been forgotten now. Yep Card has power, Status light solid green, Network light blinking away at me! Holding reset button turns Status LED off then you press it again to reset it... it flashes between amber and Green when requesting an IP. Solid Green means TCP/IP is set up. Can't see any leases in my DHCP servers for the card.
  16. Thanks, after some thought and deliberation.. I unplugged the NMC from the network and could still ping the address so I think what I was trying to log into wasnt my UPS... My NMC seems to not be picking up an IP. Need to get consoled in to the UPS itself. To which ive had no avail so far.
  17. The air has been blue ... trust me Havent got anything to connect to via it at the moment, I might just fit a serial card in and try again! Thanks
  18. Done that... no dice.
  19. Yes flow control off... remind me how to turn off buffers ?
  20. Yippp tried that, I cant get connected to Console at all. Screen stays black on putty.
  21. Ah right well that hasnt happened, this wa sin the box with the UPs.. Sealed and eveything
  22. Im using the one provided with the UPS...
  23. Dont know where to start with that, Ive tried it via the NMC card but apparently this doesnt do a factory reset it simply just requests and IP - which mine isnt doing.
  24. Well im not entirely sure of the speed, Apparently its 2400,1,8,N but nothing on that.. changing to 9600 doesnt work either.
