Hi all, Failover clustering is something I'm looking to setup within our current infrastructure. Having never looked at it before - Ive setup a test bed. I have 2x HP ProLiant ML110's - 4GB RAM 2x XEON Cpus and 2x 500GB hard drives in both machines. iSCSI is setup and working between both servers - hyper-v installed and configured, however in cluster manager if I run validation I get yellow bang marks and cannot continue to create cluster as it fails but doesn't really tell me why it fails. Wheres the best place to start ? Thanks all

A solution to the Office problem would be to use online office if it still exists ? Isnt Word Excel etc available as a web version ? That way you have office in your browser. I'd be basing the OS on either CentOS or Fedora.

Thats how we have it setup all our Hyper-V servers share a SAN basically where VM's etc are stored. How did u set it up so that the other server knows that the VM's have gone down on the other ? I have heartbeat enabled is this all that needs to be done ?

How does that work then ? If you have replication setup does it automatically fail over ?

Everything virtual... Any servers you have get them virtualized its really easy. You can use Microsoft Disk2VHD tool if you go the Hyper-V Route. We use Hyper-V across our virtual cluster. We have 5 Dell R610's running Server 2012 DC with Hyper-V all replicated on and off site.

Yes, try running ADWCleaner and Combofix on affected machines.
