Over the Summer we have moved from CRBC to Biostore and now have 4 working Cash loaders to move on. We didn't get the new £20 note setup on them but apart from that they are in working order. One is a primary height with a pedestal fitted and we also have a triangular wall bracket which can sit under a secondary height unit. Anyone interested? Open to offers really but thinking £200 each?? I think they are £1200 new and we only bought then in 2018 or 2019 I think it was.

Had this the other day as well. Tried to run Windows updates and it just sat there but if I enabled auto updates and let it do its thing then it brought in the updates without any issues.

Turns out it was our PCE server directing blocked websites to the forensics software website which is no longer used and for some reason was being redirected to koalaok.com.

Thanks for the suggestions. Have now run both of those and superantispyware and malwarebytes and none of then reported anything.

Has anyone had any dealings with this website?? Yesterday we have several users who use say IE and when they either go direct to a website or search for the site they are redirected to koalaok.com. If they do the same thing on say FF it works fine and they get to the site they wanted. Today we have had users, in any browser, try to go to amazon.co.uk or .com and they are redirected to koalaok.com but any other website is fine. I can find info about removing koala personal search add-in but there doesnt appear in the add-in options on any browser or add/remoce programs. anyone had this and sorted? Any help appreciated.

I found the £30 cable tracer from Maplin invaluable at the Summer when I was installing cables for a new phone system. I did find that our Fire Alarm cables interfered with the tone receiver but once I worked that out I was fine. I have also found it hit and miss if companies label the points correctly or following on your existing sequence unless I have specifically told them that’s what I want. I would have thought it was obvious

Art have an HP5550 colour printer which is constantly jammed by paper wrapping itself around the fuser. A lot of the Art work at the moment looks like they are trying to turn white paper black and I don’t think the printer is coping very well. If it is just a normal colour print with lots of different colours it copes. If I print 1 of these black art pieces then a plain sheet then a black Art piece it appears to cope but 2 or more black art pieces following each other then it jams again. I know I can set a separator page to print between jobs which works fine if they send 5 separate jobs but is there any way to force a separator page in between each page of a 5 page document. Any help appreciated

We had something similar with an HP 4200 and were never able to resolve other than tell users not to print a PDF exam paper from either AQA or Edexcel (cannot remember which one it was now) Firmware and drivers updated and back dated in some cases but didnt work, the exam board swore blind they did nothing different to the papers so in the end we had to print them for the users on a different printer without issue. All other PDF's and some of the mark schemes from that exam board worked fine.

Northumberland LA have an online training portal that all our new staff are being refered to to complete an online "certification" to cover us. Think it might also include the prevent stuff thats happening at the moment too. If you have a budget try South West Grid. They were receiving some European money for running training so were able to offer discounted sesions. I was at a session they ran a little while ago and I found it very informative and was worth attending and I think they said if they cam eto you they would also be able to make it specific to any issues you may have in your school/area as well.

We have had this issue for most of the timetable season with the timetabler having to reassign his default printer at least daily. Anyone know a more permanent fix of their own making or from Capita?? 9 days and counting http://awscdn.cdngeek.net/images/icons/icon6.png
