  1. 48 port is all good, but I'd rather put 2x 24's in. Just in case the single 48port switch fails.
  2. What about one of these? 2.4G Wireless Fly Air Mouse Keyboard Remote Touchpad For KODI Android TV BOX PC | eBay
  3. Thanks mate, I'll give it another look - if I get stuck I'll come back to you if that is ok? and likewisae if there is anything I can assist with just PM me.
  4. Thanks man, this is similar to what I had setup previously, though the Autodiscover didnt seem to work very well. DO I need to configure anything for it to work? ports opening perhaps? As the servers are moinitored over the internet.
  5. Just to add, we do have to edit the config file quite often as we take up monitoring servers for companies over the internet that are not part our AD.
  6. OK thanks. I'll see if I can create a template for it.
  7. I havent gone that in depth with it but my next experiment will be monitoring some remote servers over the internet. Only problem I see with it is my other colleagues aren;t going to want to edit config files like I think you have to do to specify port numbers etc (active server addresses etc) There is the Zabbix Agent with the config file.
  8. We use Zabbix and PRTG Free (100 sensors)
  9. Keep me abreast of the outcome of the trial, could be interesting!

  11. Is this link any good to you? https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/975d3b74-f25f-47a6-a4ee-a50d6250d9a4/windows-server-2012-rd-connection-broker-installation?forum=winserverTS
  12. Strange, Never had this issue. Tried after a reboot?
  13. Thanks, we run 10 Pro across the board so that's good. I have seen always-on VPN in a few articles online, we do have IPSec VPN in place but anything easier for the client side is a bonus! I see words like HTML5 for RD thrown around too that looks interesting.
  14. Hi all just looking at DA with Server 2016. Having not used/worked with it before can someone confirm whether this only works with Enterprise OS, we are typically running Windows Pro versions across the board - are we going to need to use Windows Enterprise versions? Thanks in advance
  15. Its Garbage. Switching to ScreenConnect.
  16. Ah right thanks, I wouldn't be able to run it on the exchange server anyway its that slow!!! Be easier and quicker to retype all emails that ever existed in the systems and send them to the users one by one - Yes it is that bad, hence going to 365 lol.
  17. Hi all Is there a way to export a PST from Outlook in the background, I'm trying to move someone over the 365 - Client has an online exchange server but accessing it remotely is like wading through molasses, it is in front of it too to be fair. I can log on to each user remotely or issue a remote command - can I expot a PST from Outloook without having to disrupt the user too much?
  18. Not sure whether it could be done and work at that speed, I would, for future proofing.... visit TrendNET or similar.
  19. Yep, agree 100% - Cisco will cause a headache. And licesnsing/serivce contracts cost will be expensive. 3CX or FreePBX with new handsets, or headsets use 3CX phone.
  20. TrendNET do some nice 10gb switches over Ethernet. Fairly cheap too considering...
  21. Save money. PFsense. Put it on a good server. Bobs your uncle.
  22. Or spend the money and replace with 3CX far better system. Easier to live with and manage. Support is cheaper too. Your phones will STILL work on 3CX even though they arent supported you'll just have to manually provision them - log into them or use TFTP to roll out a network wide config file to reprovision the phone to point to 3CX. Added to this is the Functionality of 3CX Phone.
  23. Check the above... Proxy settings etc Also try WSUS Offline Updater too: WSUS Offline Update - Update Microsoft Windows and Office without an Internet connection
