  7. Progress... An error occurred in the Logon Tracker Error: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. Is shown in the Windows Event log... eh??!!
  8. Yep - thats in there correctly. Hmmm

  10. Yes, you can push the VMware player out with GPO or SCCM or anything like that. Do the extract above. I built a standalone XP/7 image and then dropped that on each machine after the install with script/GPO prefs/custom msi. Standalone image avoids the issues of duplicate SIDs etc, but it depends if they need network connectivity on the machines.
  11. < -- hehehe! < -- Same for the same reason :-)
  12. I did a blog post on this last year - applies to Exchange 2010, but the features exist in 2007 and Outlook 2007/2010. Centrally managing Signatures in Outlook and OWA - the free way - Blogs - EduGeek.net
  13. A little bit more progress, I reset the permissions on the AppData folder and put the authentication to Anon (with using the AppPool identity) in IIS. The data doesnt make it into the XML file (ive gone back to XML while we troubleshoot)... Anything or anywhere i can look? The registry entries get created each time on a logon command, which then causes the .net error above. Is there any way it can accept the port number? Stuart
  14. Only up to 2008 r2 at the mo I think, support for 2012 in Spring is that right @PhilNeal?
  15. Ahh.. found an entry hiding in there, and deleted it. It then ran ok, but didnt add anything to the database Running it again causes the same error too; as does running the logoff event. Ideas?
  16. no prob, if you need any help on the config, feel free to drop me a line
  17. I would suggest having distribution points at each of your client locations, otherwise you will get some bottlenecks on installs. You shouldnt need more than one update point, as this puts its content on distribution points.
  18. Im loving the Ruckus, Overland and Juniper (not mentioned ) systems Im having installed by @Net-Ctrl.... see you there guys
  19. I do wish SWGFL would stop playing with things without telling people.... Im all for developments, dont get me wrong - but its back to the old consult users, and keeping us informed with maintenance etc.
  20. Yes to the above. Im using the URL categorisation to allow and block categories of websites. You can also allow an "override" to staff users on some of the category rules in tmg. One small problem is that TMG is now an end of life project so unless you are already using it - I would suggest smoothwall, which I will also be moving to at some point in the future (when it can do the same sso that tmg can do with sharepoint, exchange etc all via one url... which is supposed to be coming soon).
  21. Shiny, shiny Ruckus toys! Mine has just been delivered
  22. Had this app on my todo list for ages, about time I got round to using it! Cheers Matt
  23. Plus one for Cd Burner XP...great app. Thanks for the source...will be checking there in future
