  1. Hi minimoo. Yep, the drop down for the number of sessions to multi book is blank. It's the same as the issue originally in the linked thread. My sessions are Session 1, AM Break, Session 2, Lunch, Session 3, PM Break, Session 4, After College.
  2. I had spotted that - a nice gem I wasnt expecting was the resource titles to be clickable! Maybe in future we can add a description to each resource which only shows when you are in the "Single Item" view like that...?
  3. OK, cool. Could you see if they would have a quick nosey over it for me... Its gone back to doing the "Blank list" on the drop down as it did before. I might try reverting the code changes we did last time to see if it makes a difference.
  4. Great, thanks - how easy would it be to add a drop down selector menu - or should we just change the entry points to the booking system from the home page? How easy would it be to add a custom "type"? Any ideas on what might have broken the multi session?
  5. Hi Nick We got the multi booking working last time as detailed here http://www.edugeek.net/forums/home-access-plus/83219-hap-v8-feature-requets-8.html on HAP8. Ive upgraded to 8.4, and its broken again . Ive checked the code, and the edits we made are there - so Im a bit stumped. Can you take a look? Did we get any further with adjusting the column widths at all fo display as well, or the catagories of resources a la earlier versions? Many thanks
  6. Likewise. Just enable unknown computer support. There are some crypts on my blog to detect and prompt for machine name or use collection variable.
  7. +1 for naming convention which is what I do
  8. Check for "Run in user context" in the preference. I found a delay being caused by this not being ticked.
  9. Well, I know its been a long time since my last published blog post! The truth is Ive been working on a few for a while now - but just never got round to finishing any of them. Heres the first of my next batch... a return to an earlier thread of posts, originally related to Printing on Remote Desktop. First, a bit of background... traditionally, most systems will be set up to map printers via a logon script. The script typically checks a machine name and adds the appropriate printers based on that. Because we add some Wyse Thin Clients into that mix, the old machine naming thing doesnt work, so we have to start looking at grouping users. Thankfully - Group Policy Preferences covers this. That was my last post on the subject. Now, I like completeness and uniformity across the system - so the fact that part of the system had printers set through group membership and a group policy preference that checked that membership; whilst the rest used a script was a faff! Add to that that our Windows Thin PC remote desktop terminals had a different way - they had to use a startup script meant that any changes meant three different sets of updates. Well, in the bin that went after following up the capabilities of the Group Policy Printing Preferences a bit more... it became clear that we could also use the same kind of machine name based check in there too. Next up, just the Windows Thin PCs. Actually, they were even simpler as Microsoft have done their homework on this. There is actually an option for Remote Desktop (Terminal Server) Client name. Bingo... as our Thin PCs also used a sensible naming convention, we could target based on this A bit of bedtime reading on this - heres a good article found whilst researching writing this up. http://www.virtualizationadmin.com/articles-tutorials/vdi-articles/general/printing-microsoft-rds-environments-how-evolved-todays-technology.html This is a great resource to use for lots of VDI and Remote Desktop updates...
  10. Box number 12 it was for me... Looking forward to Mondays video draw!
  11. Sorry all, I was in meetings all day about out new buildings which open in two weeks time. I'm on it now and will PM my box number over for Mon morn....
  12. Gpo preferences, as a remove file user policy should do the trick. You just need to follow where in th user profile thy end up
  13. I use Windows Thin PC (which is kind of the same product as Embedded Standard now) - there are some posts on this, and scripts/GPOs used to complete the SSO to RDP farm over on my blog.
  14. Mail coming your way tomorrow :-)
  15. Bumping this one too....would be very handy. Ours wanders off the edge of the page too, 4 sessions, and 3 breaks (inc lunch)...
  16. Couldn't get the side by side to work, but the other single version is ok. It's case sensitive too, for those who give this a go. Ay chance of integrating this better, like a Daily Summary view?
  17. A "Today" (or daily) printable sheet, which can be used by techs or teachers for each room or overall for the system would be nice
  18. +1 for this, i remember in earlier versions - we had a dropdown to filter the grid...
  19. And restarting IIS has dealt with the failing to book properly issue on multi rooms. Works brilliantly too - like the way it knows its a multi booking and on delete, it takes them all out :-)
  20. Is it possible to have it as +2 on the after booking side?
  21. And another quick one - if I wanted the "Charging" on laptops to block out the next two sessions (we have AM Break, PM Break and Lunch all on the system) - what would I need to change...
  22. Some test results for you... Ive gone and nosied at the the booking xml file and found the following entries... These are before the last fix: These are after the last fix:
  23. Of course - what do you need me to test?
  24. Hmm - still the same here any other references to check/fix?
