Pretty, easy to use and easy to navigate. Plenty of info and a school happy to use Twitter. I like it. Good work!

Sounds good to me, thanks!

Hello All I am looking to take the FITS Practitioner course soon after getting an email from RM. Was just wondering if anybody knows where I can search these courses online so I can possibly find a training centre closer to home? There doesn't seem to be much info about FITS out there tbh. Thanks all gl3nnym

Finally! Can you reboot Office while your there too?

I would agree with jamesfed but using IIS you should be able to create a new website and point it to the folder your wordpress site is in. XAMPP should be able to do the rest.

Laotop with broken CD drive - how to re-install windows...

Try making all items appended with USB top priority for booting. I have found with the L20's that USB-ZIP works for the external USB CD drive. -
We used Cyclone Industries to install cashless in our school using touchscreen tills and fingerprint cash loaders. It integrates with SIMS and Parent Pay. The kitchen staff were a bit skeptic at first but they love it now!

@elsiegee40 Looks good. Might mention that to the powers that be. Know of any ways I can find instructor led courses for Microsoft Exams? Thanks

I do not envy your day. Probably not much help but can you throw together a basic exchange setup and attach the mdb from the dead(ish) disk? Horrible situation and I wish you luck!

This looks fantastic but unfortunately too far away for me. How can we find out where courses like these are being held? It would be great to have instructor led learning as well as the Microsoft Books.

Bump. Again I know this is a quiet period but is anybody able to offer a desperate person some advice? Kinda need to get this fixed. Thank You

Hi NickDay85. Yes that is how it was set up and the address was populating correctly through AD. Problem is I now want to REMOVE the changes I made and go back to having just the one address for everyone. Thanks gl3nnym

Hi All I understand that things can slow down during the holidays but does anybody have any idea on what I can do? I am a bit lost short of editing all users individually. Thank You.

OK so I think I have created a bit of a mess. I downloaded a TEC sheet from RM on "How to add an additional domain to a Microsoft Exchange server." It seemed easy enough and I added the extra 4 new domains in the recipient policy. This then updated to all users but the new domains were using the alias rather than the current naming scheme, for example: Current: [email protected] New domains: [email protected] In an effort to make all the emails the same (InitialSurname) I used a replacement string: How to Modify an SMTP E-Mail Address by Using Recipient Policies. I then found out that it is not recommended to add more domains in the default recipient policy so I removed them and created a new policy with the new domains and replacement strings. It then appeared that Exchange got confused and was adding email addresses to users all over the place so I cut my losses and removed the domains to start again, leaving only the default there as before. Turns out that 24 hours later and after rebuilding/applying the recipient policy and RUS the new SMTP addresses are still in the users mailboxes with the wrong naming scheme. Is there a way I can remedy this? Have I got to go through each user individually to edit them? Please excuse my poor explanation but I am soon to be entering panic mode. Thanks all in advance. gl3nnym

Wow nice one! Some people do care.

We had that problem here this morning but that was because our ISP was playing up. All seems OK now though.

Creating a new user account in Windows Server 2003
gl3nnym replied to stretch3144's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
In Active Directory you can also "copy" a user. This will essentially create a new user with a new profile/directory but use the same characteristics as the user you copied from. This is handy if you want to create an identical user type but with different names/profiles. It might be worth creating this user again using the copy function. -

We use the following: 250MB for all pupils Unlimited for all staff When we have a space issue we just ask offending staff to save their personal stuff elsewhere as we cannot afford expansion at the moment but we can just about let them have unrestricted space.
