Will need something like this to check the group membership of the user account to see if it is a member of the intake2010 or intake2011 etc and if so then to add whatever printer you want : You would most likely need to edit the script as you can use your select case etc to do what you need IsMember Function (VBScript)

Is intake2010 and intake2011 different security groups or are they different OU's ?

Presume 750 watt psu you have is sufficient to run two GTX 760 GPU's ? Have you updated the bios on your motherboard to the latest revision ? What sort of temps did you say the GPU's run at just before it reboots or the display goes blank etc ? Also what driver(s) have you got installed for the GPU's ? Latest or one or two revisions before the latest version ? If you only have one GPU installed in the main PCIe slot , is that still the same ? Wondering - if you have a different PSU to try and see if that makes any difference ?

Has it fallen off the domain as we have had laptops fall off or come off the domain and we use a kms / licensing server to activate each installation of windows Also is dns resolving to your server that runs kms There are some commands you can run from an administrative command prompt to set the kms server to your kms server and also to try and force windows to activate ( I think ) Not sure how much help this is. Can post the commands later on

no problem - If I remember correctly I made the adding a printer and setting it as default a function or something to that effect and then basically just got it to detect the computer name and depending on the computer name called the add printer function / sub ( whatever it was ) to add the relevant printer ( which required the unc path to the print server and also the share name of the printer you wanted to add ) Will make more sense when you open the vb script up and see the code etc, obviously edit / update the code to your needs etc

I have used X Mirage on my home mac mini and been really good. You can get trial versions of both air server and x mirage so best bet would be to trial both out and see which fits / suits your needs or the teachers requirements and which works best for you Once you know that then you can pay for the required licenses etc Sort of try before you buy type deal

Am sure you could either 1) Use the crucial website for your country so UK / USA etc and manually select which model of apple mac you have and it will show / tell you what RAM you need exactly 2) Am sure there is a dmg you can download from there site which will scan your mac and take you to the page which will tell you what RAM Crucial Home Page | United States (USD)

Just as an FYI to find the hardware maintenance manual just went to google and in the search bar typed the model name followed by hmm ( so something as per below ) x121e hmm This then finds the hardware maintenance manual and you can go through the hardware maintenance manual in order to find part numbers as well as how to repair or replace items on said notebook. I have got a link or two which has videos etc if you are interested in that ? I was just asking for the model number of the Lenovo because in the parts list it shows like 3050-CTO 3051-CTO, 2390, etc etc So wanted to make sure that the part listed the first 4 digits of your model of notebook which started 3051 to make sure that the wifi card or whatever will work with and has your model of notebook listed as a compatible laptop / notebook Once you have established which wireless card you want to order, take the FRU Part number and search for the FRU Part number on ebay or the likes, should find the correct wireless card for you

Going from this Hardware Maintenance Manual : ->> http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/0a96013_03.pdf I have attached a copy of the 2 specific pages from Chapter 10 - Parts List ( pages 93 and 94 ) Would be a case of establishing which one of those wireless cards is the better one, if you look at page 88 where it has the exploded diagram of all the items in the laptop, it is part number 17 that is the WiFi Card x121e pages 93 to 94.pdf

Possibly want to look at getting a compatable wifi card as the 2nd link shows how to modify the wireless card id to make the wifi card work with the lenovo notebook. Does warn and say that you may end up killing the wifi card so if you are going to go ahead and do this, might be worth while if possible to make a copy of the wireless cards firmware including id etc ( if that is even possible ) Am just looking at the hardware maintenance manual for the x121e now

1) What is the model number and serial number of one of these laptops / notebooks ? I can then find the hardware maintenance manual or similar and see what it lists as compatible wifi cards Other way is to call Lenovo and give them these details and request what wireless cards will work in that Lenovo machine and if they list one that supports AC then get them to give you the lenovo FRU part number and should be able to order one off of ebay or similar 2) Something along these lines : Problem with unauthorized MiniPCI network card - ThinkWiki
