I had a similar issue with Lenovo - took a few calls to be booked and found an article on there support site that explained what the issue was and they then booked for a motherboard to be replaced ( which originally they refused to do ). The 2nd motherboard they gave us worked fine and we had to complain to the account manager to get this sorted to make sure we get the correct motherboards that had the relevant SLIC entries / tables etc that were basically not OEM Boards as the KMS Licensing server was refusing to activate windows with an OEM Type board that was missing those relevant entries.

So far my experience of iOS 7 1) I like how you flick up or down to either search ya iPhone or get control centre 2) Maybe just me but I have disabled push on my email accounts etc but seems to be very battery hungry and I'm lucky if I've got power at the end of the day. I always have my wifi and Bluetooth off when I don't use them 3) Getting prompted with message boxes whilst in the middle of typing is annoying. Don't recall that happening on iOS 6 but not totally sure on this point. Think it did but it was a bar along the top but it didn't stop you from typing iOS 7 seems like an amalgamation of windows phones and android taking into consideration the look of some aspects of the GUI ie the back space or delete button on at least a Nokia lumia and iOS 7 for the phone is exactly the same pretty much. I also say android now as you do swipe actions to search ya phone or get control centre. Androids had this before iOS as far as quickly being able to turn ya wifi devices on or off and making or having shortcuts to do this without having to go into settings etc 4) on a few occasions just with the Facebook app and literally a couple of other things opened its frozen for about 10 seconds before coming back and being responsive again and I was connected to 5ghz WiFi at the time so not related to a slow connection I have noticed another thing but it's only happened once so not sure ref that being an issue or not

Modify that bezel services.loginplugin by replacing volume .aiff with an aiff that has no audio as per above and then will either of those ie wgm or ard allow you to replace it on a client mac. I would try it on a test client mac first just in case it breaks something

Presume windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit. If it was XP I may have been able to help with regards to re building / repairing WMI and giving access rights / permissions for dcom etc but haven't dealt with WMI issues for a while. I presume you are authenticating against the remote machine using a domain admin account

Never knew she could fit into a hat. Is that like a midget jumping out of a cup cake shouting "Surprise!!!" -
I believe ( could be wrong here ) that you can register for a me / icloud account for free, enable find me iOS device on said device whether iPhone / iPad etc and have a pin on the device anyway. I don 't think there are any other settings ( aside from adding the same icloud account details onto the device ) but you can remotely wipe the device and as of iOS 7 should lock the phone completely unless they know the logon details for the icloud account. You can still track the iOS device etc using your icloud account from another device Not saying its perfect but hey ho
