the thing is its not for me and I haven't seen it someone I know is trying to get some but isn't giving me any help at all and all they have said is the one I got is for the MacBook not the mac tower pro so im so confused I ay got a clue in hell. a chimp would be better.

says the minimum ram speed is 1066MHz but I need to know the maximum and I cant locate it anywhere

But can you remove the RAM from the macbooks and upgrade it or are they builtin within the board and can not be removed ?

im still stuck on the apple website theres 4 RAM all same spec and Hz and I don't know if some are for the MacBook's or not. Ive had people say that the one I brought wasn't the right one and it was for the macbooks not for the mac tower pro 2.8GHz quad core intel xenon and I need DDR3. Why do macs have to be so awkward.

Hi everyone, I am looking to upgrade the RAM (memory Modules) to 2 x 8GB. However, on Appl's site there are 4 different modules but all have the same name. one has 1600MHz and another has 1866MHz, I am not sure which one I need. Please help !!
