Which is why I will never believe. If God says it should be done this way, how come it can be altered by us to fit the time.

Just playing with Adito and have a question about user security. I am using the built in database and my Adito users will use a different password to log into Adito than they have to log into the network(AD). This makes it imposable to pass the {password} from Adito to the server automatically. I obviously do not have everyone's AD password so do I create a user in AD that has access to all the shares I might need in Adito and use this? Does that make sense? Is their a better way of setting this up?

Hello all :) Would appreciate your opinions

Yep thats right. For the most part it's running the Sims / FMS updates that get issued to the school. Normally this is fire and forget but on occasion you will have an error. If the school use Sims or FMS they will already have some support either from the local authority or directly from Capita who make these products, and you always have edugeek so your never actually on your own. Telling the school that you have worked on similar systems before will be a massive bonus for you. The office staff will already know how to use these systems so I would explain that you understand the server aspects but might need some help on the general usage. I also found that the office staff who use these products have a lot of input in choosing a successful candidate. -
[android] Decent Android music player?
edutech4schools replied to pete's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Winamp winamp winamp. Winamp has been the main free player on pc's for 10ish years and the android app is very very good. You can get it to automatically pull songs you have not listened to for a while from you NAS or main music collection wirelessly. The sound quality (I am a sound quality freak) is imo better than any other android music app, but that's just my opinion. -

Ok just got onsite and it turns out is not all excel files. The error is only with excel files that use macros. I also created a new home folder and still get the issue. I would ignore the quote above as this file did not have macros. So she cant open any excel documents from any network drives but if she copies them to her local machine they are fine. -
What did you get?

I am back at the school later. I might create a new home folder and see how that goes. Any other ideas? -
