  1. I have put mine on a windows machine with IIS, I downloaded a non-docker older version as I could not get the docker install to work properly.
  2. Awesome Ill have to get them, loved it.
  3. Just listened to John Dies at the End by David Wong. It was brilliant, a very funny book with a good story. I must have a looked weird driving along laughing to myself.
  4. Did a restart and still getting the same error.
  5. Thanks for all the messages. Unfortunately it is a rental place so do not want to do any drilling etc. Also it is laminate flooring all over.
  6. Not sure, I am unable to delete any of them at the moment. Hoping a restart will help.
  7. Hi all, At home, my sky cables are in one corner of the room, but my TV etc are on the other side. See diagram below. I am getting a sky box and was wondering if its possible to run HDMI over ethernet, or HDMI over Power. At the moment I have a router which goes to a POE adapter to the other side of the room to another POE adapter to a switch and that dishes out to the Amazon TV box, CCTV box etc. Due to the layout and our belongings we have to have the room in this layout. Cheers
  8. I did think this but I get the same error when I try to delete a rule as well.
  9. Hi all, I have noticed that FSRM is not blocking executable's being saved in student areas. The files cannot be run due to applocker, but would prefer them not to be there in the first place. I know that FSRM was working, but now when I tried to create or delete a file screen i get this error: and this is event viewer: I haven't tried restarting the server yet, but will do tonight. Is there a service that FSRM relies on? Cheers
  10. Brilliant thanks mate.
  11. I think I have found a registry fix for it. Hope that's the right one. - - - Updated - - - Ok thanks mate.
  12. Hi, I have installed SISRA excel add-in for a member of staff who has 64 bit office, but the add-in is not showing. It installs but it is not in the top bar. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  13. I know but strangely had a good experience with BT, just their pricing, customer service was great. Plusnet and TalkTalk were terrible.
  14. Last year my bill went up £3, this year it went up another £3. May not seem a lot but my wife an I are having to budget so saving around £12 a month on one bill seemed like a no brainer for us. Had a bad experience with TalkTalk and Plusnet, got on fine with BT.
  15. Further news on my Plusnet saga!!!! Got home that night to find an email saying that as I was leaving Plusnet they would be charging me a £56 cancellation fee, even though their original email said that due to the price increase they would waive any cancellation fees. So had to contact Plusnet and spoke to a friendlier person who asked why was I leaving as they would waive the price increase 'THIS TIME' but I explained that they were still over £10 a month more expensive than what I can get. Also for me if they are increasing prices they cannot expect customers not to look elsewhere and that their service and customer service are not spectacular enough to make people want to pay more and stay. That went down like a lead balloon, but hey ho!!!!!!
  16. When I moved house 2 years ago, stayed with Plusnet but moved from broadband to fibre, was not getting good speeds about 15mb. Contacted them, they said I was wrong i was on fibre, when I said no I wasn't they said I was being uncooperative. Put a complaint in couple of days later go phone call to say that I had been put on broadband instead of fibre so started to get 30mb when it got sorted. My dad is on plusnet and he is happy with them. Different experiences like you say.
  17. Had issues with their customer service team before being quite rude, so to be honest quite happy that they couldn't match the other prices. They have just put me in a bad mood for a Monday.
  18. Cool cheers mate. That's made me feel better as I have signed with EE, wife has mobile with them, gave us a really good deal. So happy now. Couldn't believe how childish they were being.
  19. Hi all, Ok just had an interesting phone conversation with Plusnet. Had an email at the weekend saying that they were increasing the prices again and if I contacted them within 30 days could cancel contract with no termination fee. Not been happy with them for a while, find their customer service team quite arrogant and rude. Anyway had found some good deals, so contacted Plusnet and they guy got really funny with me when I told him that I was thinking about leaving and what prices I had been quoted by other companies said 'Well you better go with them then.' He kept talking over me, wouldn't let me speak and was quite petulant. So to be honest good riddance. Not what I needed on a Monday morning though.
  20. Hi all, We have some android tablets that I have been asked to setup for our EAL students to use for translation etc. I want to be able to look after and manage them remotely, what would be the best way to do this. I want to be able to lock settings, prevent them messing with the background (putting live wallpaper on - this kills the tablets), install apps remotely etc. Is there any free/open source mobile device management software that I can use for this? Cheers
  21. Hi all, I have inherited a SCCM setup and am going through the process of re-imaging all the PCs in the school. The image goes on fine, but then will sit there not installing anything until I go onto each PC and manually sync the policy in the sccm client, before it will start pulling down software installations. The default client setting are: Client Policy Polling interval (minutes): 60. But I have waited more than an hour and nothing is happening. Any ideas? Thanks
  22. We have Smartboard 4084s I was going to check the latest software or firmware for the boards. I think it must be the boards as the laptops have no issues what so ever with monitors.
  23. @robyholmes thanks posting. I have tried different resolutions and refresh rates but to no avail, also when I connect to a Smartboard I get nothing not even the BIOS shows I get no display on the Smartboard. I have just been in 4 rooms 3 have wall mounted boards 1 has a mobile board. 1 of the wall mounted boards worked out of the 3 rooms, to start with then it flickered then it died completely. The mobile device board worked fine, no problems at all.
  24. Hi all, We have mainly Fujitsu A557 laptops for staff, which have been working fine, but recently we are finding that 1 or 2 will not dual screen through HDMI to our Smartboards. I can plug in normal monitors and they work fine, but they will not project to the Smartboards. I have tried different HDMI cables, plugging directly into the board instead of the wall unit, I have updated the graphics drivers on the laptop. When I plug in the HDMI the laptop beeps and the screen goes off as if it is trying to show the image and when I go to the display settings it is showing that it is on duplicate and it is recognising the smartboard in the Intel Graphics Settings of the laptop. But no matter what I do it will not display on the board. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  25. Hi all, We have some NHS welfare trainees working at the school doing student and staff welfare studies. They are bringing in their own printer to use, but I am loath to put it on the network and thus giving them access to the network through their NHS provided devices. I was wondering what the best way to accomplish this was? Any advice would be great. Cheers
