Reaching the end of my tether I removed all user profiles and created a reg install via user GPO for this [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Spartan] RAC_LaunchFlags REG_DWORD value to 1 and for some reason now it is working for all new users. it is now, ill see how i get on. Its strange as a domain user i get the edge error, when I log on as local administrator Edge works fine.

Yeah we have impero. Also I re-imaged the PC again with the original image and before I properly restarted the machine to go onto the domain, I signed in as administrator and used Edge it worked fine. But after properly connecting to domain it has stopped working. In event viewer just before it stops working i have a error: SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization for *domain*/machinename via htpps://NTC-KeyID-.............microsoftaik.azure.net/templates/Aik/scep failed. EventID:86 A security error occurred 0x80072f8f (WinHttp: 12175 ERROR_WINHTTP_SECURE_FAILURE) Not sure if linked but strange it occured just before Edge stops working.

Hi mate, the first image I sysprepped, the second I just extracted a wim file from the windows 10 iso and did not sysprep. Still had the same results.

Right I have created a new image and deployed it and I am still getting the same issue. So I think the issue is with a GPO that is breaking Edge to be honest. Does Cortana need to be enabled to use Edge?

Hi all, Just built a new image on Windows 10 Edu 1809. Stripped out the apps that we dont need etc. I have deployed the image to a test machine and everything works well except for Edge. Whenever i try to open it on any account I get a: "That's odd... something stopped working ......." error and Error Code: 0x80270025b. In Event viewer i get: Faulting Application name: MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe, version: 11.0.17763.1, time stamp: 0x90f701bc Faulting module name: EdgeContent.dll Exception code: 0xc0000409 I have done this which works for an administrator, but no one else. https://sekharpadikkal.wordpress.com/2018/01/05/fix-for-the-microsoft-edge-crash-with-software-restriction-policy-dll-check-turned-on/ Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Matt. I have setup folder redirection and that is all working. But for some reason the quick access folders are still trying to access C:\User..... etc. And because c drive is blocked we get the "The operation has been cancelled....." error. Thanks

Hi all, Sorry, I know I have seen this but I can't remember, is it possible to redirect the libraries (Quick access, frequent folders) from file explorer, as at the moment they are trying to go to the c drive user folders to a UNC path? Cheers

Thanks for the posts. Unfortunately due to its location I do need to use the switch, which also has a Amazon Fire box, HTPC plugged into it. As I can't plug directly into the PFSense box will I need a VLAN capable switch?

For any of these I take it I would need a VLAN capable switch? I can setup VLANs on my WAP for the different wireless ssids.

Hi all, Hope you are well. Its half-term so I am setting up a firewall for home. I have tried Untangle and Sophos XG. I liked Untangle but dont want to pay for the main parts, I couldnt get on with Sophos XG at home, even though I use the UTM at work. So I have decided to setup PFSense as I am familiar with that and like that I can setup what I need. I am going to set it up with PFBlockerNG and maybe OpenDNS. Ideally i would like to set it up so my kids get separate filtering to my wife and me. So i was thinking of setting up a separate VLAN and SSID for the kids devices on the PFSense box. I have found a couple of guides for this, but did anyone have any recommendations. Cheers

Hi all, Having issues with SCCM being stuck installing applications at downloading 0%. When I check the deployment status it says waiting for content. I know this can have something to do with boundaries so checked and the client I am trying to get working is in a IP address of *.*.34.*. On the SCCM server there is only one IP subnet of *.*.32.* and Default-first-site-name. SCCM has been working so not sure why this has just cropped up except that it updated to SCCM 1902 yesterday. Could this be the issue? Cheers

Originally it was installed via a script in SCCM, would i need to uninstall Teams first and then install the new update or could I remove the old deployment in SCCM and create a new one to install the latest client? Hi all, They need to use Adobe libraries in photoshop to use with Fuse. I have managed to get the users to login to their Adobe accounts, but when I open photoshop - Libraries it says this: I have recently rebuilt our Applocker policy which has allowed users to get into Adobe CC (we have the app installed) and login but not sure why we are getting this error. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi all, Thanks for the advice I created a new applocker policy, added the defaults and used one or two entries from the old one that made sense the rest i scrapped. All seems to working as it should and even a couple of programs that wouldn't work are working now. So all good. Many thanks for your help.

I just disabled the policy link. I have been going through the GPOs but cannot find another applocker policy. *Headache*

Hi all, I took over at a UTC a while back and havent had to do much to applocker. But now I am getting requests to install new software, one of which I am having issues with. So I wanted to disable applocker temporarily to test something and the start menu on the school PCs stop working. Re-enabling applocker makes the start menu work again?? Any ideas?? Cheers
