  1. We have advertised for this role before but we need to be more relaxed perhaps with our requirements. We need a technician who has a good understanding of the basics of school networks and the sims system. SIMS is essential and not just the install on workstations but some sys admin and a reasonable grasp of core modules and where school, mostly primaries, often need support. The contract period is for 6 months, covering helpdesk calls from a range of users and term time only but it should turn into a permanent position assuming all parties are happy in the summer The contract rate is between £10-15ph and the perm salary will correspond to that. My client is looking to hire asap although will wait a month if necessary.   7. A great client of ESP requires a temporary IT engineer to cover for sickness in the team. You need to be able to start asap, ideally by thursday, have CRB clearance already (under 3 years) and be able to support desktop users and other engineers in the team in a variety of technologies. School has straight windows network and standard hardware, even sims.
