This is a great opportunity for someone with strategic and technical management background in education - Strategic IT Systems Manager – Central London Leading independent school based in a Central London location requires an excellent hands on IT manager. This is an open message to all edugeekers, I'm considering running a free CV/career workshop to help anyone involved in Education ICT, mostly likely on the Saturday and possibly one afternoon (thursday looks good) during Bett. As we are not running a stand plus I think many would feel uncomfortable talking about their careers/cv when line managers may also be at Bett, so I am thinking of booking somewhere nearby I appreciate application forms are the norm in education, however it may help people to get their cv's appraised and have an informal discussion as to what may interest them in a new role as well Fill in this poll and also PM me if you are definitely interested
  20. the spec goes a little like this : ICT Field Technician required for company providing onsite and remote support to schools in the North London area. Previous schools ICT experience is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL. Duties include Network Administration - AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL, MS Exchange, TCP/IP configuration, PC and Mac troubleshooting/diagnostics and fault resolution, installs onto domains/workgroups, Installation and troubleshooting of 3rd party software, desktop and server O/S's, Installation and configuration of networking hardware - switches, routers, wireless devices and basic cabling installs/repairs, On-site consultancy and Telephone/remote support for clients.
