  2. Lets be frank, if you had their support then this would have been dealt with by now. We all know SMT can make things happen when they want too, all you have is a general agreement that damage is bad. What you don't have is a plan or support to stop it. I'd suggest what you do now is accept that you can't make this happen, sit back and watch and wait for SMT to take the action.
  3. This wont be easy!. We used Vista3D for a school project, but it took a lot of time. You have to photo everywhere, layout a map then stitch it all together.
  4. The first thing to do is realise that blame won't work. Teachers don't accept blame and nor will it be supported by SLT. Blame causes people to be defensive and panic, it won't stop the damage but will mean that every conversation from now on will start with a teacher telling you how it must have already been like that. You need to start by stopping access to the rooms. Unless there is a teacher there don't open it. Make sure it's closed, stick a camera on the door. This is one area where you can tangibly blame people. Improve the culture. Ban games in the rooms, make sure kids are sat down, make the room so utterly boring that kids only use it for school work. The moment they aren't using it productively they need to leave. Let them stew. Once it's broken that's it. You can't leave it in the room as a showpiece you need to remove it to a secure location. This will impact lessons and teachers need to figure out organically why it's happening (Because you can't tell teachers)
  5. Put a logout button on the start menu tiles and all is well again.
  6. you pay postage or collection in Oxfordshire.

  8. Deffo go for something that works first time everytime then, the amount of arguments I have with my Google home about turning lights off is mind bending. Would some sort of AV feed and a panic button work?
  9. Fancy Schmnacy. Better off with Radios, use a ring doorbell if they insist on using fancy tech in place of a proper solution.
  10. willing to entertain a 300k spend but not willing to spend £25k on someone who can provide both support and day to day presence? . That's your first problem. Second is someone trying to implement fancy solutions when it sounds like the day to day isn't being done.
  11. Likely to be convincted of an offense yes. Emergency stopping at a roundabout to give way to no one, driving at 25 in a 40 and driving along with an inidciator on for 10 mins, less so.
  12. Heres the good news... you'll soon be shot of ranger. Heres the bad news. You will need to redeploy every single machine. To do this you will need to build some sort of deployment system ( MDT, SCCM, WDS) and you will need to spend time working on your group policy. Most of what ranger does can be achieved elsewhere. Everytthing apart from 3 and 4 can be done natively. 3 will need to be done by classroom management and 4 will need to be an array of individual tasks.
  13. Must be a fault with the software, quickly blame everysome!
  14. If you contact Impero they will send you a program.
  15. It supports 4 per group, but you can assign different groups to different AP's.
  16. By the time someone has come out to look, tried to move them, tested them, attempted fixes and then realised that not all work you are better off just paying for a new run and new patch panel. Labour will be the biggest cost and you'll struggle to interest people to come out and do a job with so many variables.
  17. It's probably not even a school anymore!.
  18. Had similar, opened the DVD and could get the certificate screen but that was it.
  19. use MsiExec.exe /uninstall {9DD31A27-8A55-47A2-BBE8-9C062BF187E9} /passive /quiet Check the unisntall string is correct https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/1142-obtain-an-uninstall-string-for-any-application
