As other people have said, bounce it. It's not a technology issue but does cause massive issues elsewhere, personally I think any teachers claiming it has a teaching use are frankly wrong. The PSHE lessons would be great if they took the class into town to talk to strangers but that wouldn't make the teachers popular, cool or give them something to do instead of lesson planning so its not done.

You need a management server , you then install agents on the servers you want to backup. Server is the same for enterpise and standard, its the agents that vary, enterpise is needed for sql , exchange, that sort of thing.

It's a slightly restrained rant whilst my complaint progresses through the company. Basically they've taken on project work for us and taken a very unreasonable amount of time and still not delivered the project. On your internal DNS create a forward look up zone that has the same domain name as you use outside ( lets say school.com) and set an a record for your server ( vle) . So when they lookup vle.school.com its your dns server that returns the internal ip address.
