Does any one know of a easy to use RSS/XML feed editor written in PHP ? Basically im trying to centralise the school news so we only have to edit it once and it will update all our feeds on various platforms , so we require a way to edit a RSS feed via a browser . Any one know of a nice script that can do this that actually works ? Many thanks 2097

DW i have figured it out If i set the home drive path to the redirected documents path it will create the folder when i create the account . So then the Staff security group wont need write access/read access to the Staff folder.
-
Guys We redirect my documents Documents are stored like this C:\Share\Staff\Username The share is obviously the share and within the staff folder what should happen is every time a new user is created in AD the directory %username% should be created at first login. This is where im confused I have turned off inherit permissions as i dont like it . But every time a new user is created in AD they have the 'inherit permisson' box checked .. Is there a way to disable this ? Plus i have had to give the staff group write access to this folder so they can create the My documents folder . Which i dont really want to do as the individual user folders inside pick this up as they have the inherit box ticked. Any help here please ?

Yodel - Formerly Home Delivery Network - aka Cowboys
2097 replied to LosOjos's topic in General Chat
Home delivery Network is a pain in the but ! They seem to be winning the contracts from all the majour companys because there cheap ( see lasts year's post tax lost ) and im assuming they will try and increase the costs next year . Any way .. I orderd some flowers from marks and spencers for my sister when she has just given birth . Giving the fact i didnt think she would want me round for a few days i decided to order the flowers online . Home delivery network failed to deliver 4 times !! .. She lives in a flat ( converted house ) with a buzzer which clearly shows the number . I actually think citylink , DHL and royal mail are all ok . I order a lot of stuff online and have only ever had problems with HDNL -
open meetings ?

Unless there the same MB make sure the power button is connected to the correct Pins . Read the MB manual to find out what ones are what and test using a screw driver . Looks like i was correct in the Power button being at fault to some extent . The one i have here does not turn on at all no matter what power button i use . Only way to turn it on is a screw driver for some reason ..
-
I had a PC here the other day that did the same thing . Except it wouldnt turn on with the power button or any i used . A screwdriver worked though shorting the two pins

Focus or Fiesta is probally the easiest choice. Are you paying the insurance for him also ? as i imagine that will cost double what the car will ! I would hate top buy a youngster a car and they cant afford to insure it and decide to go out anyway ! im 24 and my insurance is £1500 on my little lotus lol !

Seems pretty good . In a all girls catholic school Network Manager Administration at Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School, Brentwood Could be quite good for a techy wanting to go upto the next step maybe ?

Very strange . Seemed to have fixed this issue . Added the Site to 'The bypass address box' in the proxy settings in IE . How very strange.

Since the easter where i have installed various updates quite a few people have come to me with problems with there keyboards. Basically whats happening is when they type into OWA there username/password sometimes they may have to press the key a few times for the PC to respond and input the key . The only thing i can think of is that these old admin machines have now updated to IE8 or that its because the OWA address is no longer Bypassed as a local address via the proxy ( removed it as some was having problems) . Has any one else experianced this as of late ? Regards "097

iTalc - Remote Logon an entire Class???
2097 replied to jsant1's topic in Network and Classroom Management
What version are you guys using ? i thought the 'remote logon' Feature had been removed in the latest version ( rc1) -

Our 2003 file/print server just hiccuped basically Taskbar dissapeard and went black and no one could logon . Any one who was logged on basically crashed. I couldnt do nothing apart from restart . I looked at Ram usage and CPU usage ( before reboot) which all seemed fine. Nothing apparent in Event viewer to suggest what happened . My feeling though it could be something to do with BackupExec 2011. Any one else had this problem as of late . To help me rule out a update causing this problem.
