Hi All We have a digital display in our staff room. I would like to put up cover lists daily for people to view. Preferably this would be automatic. No idea where to start but any input would be great. Thanks!

Cheers All. After a bit of digging around..... It seems in IOS pre IOS 10 it doesnt allow us to "forget username and password" but 10 and on do so I am assuming this is a bug. Also thanks @DalekSec I didnt realise that was a seting we could change.

Yep using mobility print. The printers are published. It saves for us on ios indefinately and 14 days I think on Android.

I am by no means an IOS expert but assumed I should be able to figure this out. We use papercut on our BYOD devices and students need to authenticate to print. This works perfectly well but if have had a couple of students who we have needed to "un-authenticate" . The only way we have figured to be able to do this is change change their password in AD which then forces them to re-auth. I thought this would be in the keychain or something but I cant find anything anywhere so ios will forget the printing passwords! Thanks

Is there any difference between the assistant in a google home and that built into tablets/phones? I have a tablet mounted in the kitchen on a wireless charger and wondered if a google home would actually improve on this setup?

Hi Not particularly versed in Sims so assume this should be possible. I need to change all the staff email contacts to their correct email addresses as we will be using these shortly and currently the only email contact they have are personal emails. Is there any way to either import or view on 1 page rather than going in individually with each member of staff and changing that way? Thanks in advance

Hi all. Setting up some firesticks with xibo on. Is working nicely. May only concern is that on the odd occasion xibo crashes (which it starts up by itself again pretty quickly) the normal amazon home screen is displayed. This often has innaproriate content (walking dead etc) which even with parental controls on the content is displayed. Also I would prefer not to have an account attached to the device but if I log out of the firestick it will contantly nag for an account. Any ideas?

We are currently using SharePoint and this is what I am going to base our IT portal on. Hopefully a one stop shop so to speak. @jthompson, I definately know what you mean about different systems getting named incorrectly. I contantly get parents asking me to reset their password for the parents portal when they mean something else. Trying to slowly stamp this out but it will take time!

Hi All I have been tasked with creating many new documents and portal etc for our I.T department. I thought before I started I might create some kind of I.T logo/branding to go along with our documentation. Has anyone else done this kind of thing? Would just really like some uniform way of creating things so that everything looks nice and the same. Any examples appreciated.

As the title suggests. Our marketing department are interested in using them but I havent heard of them so am interested if anyone has any experience. Good or bad? What I cant figure out is if it is just a front end for our services or if they actually offer the services they have. Thanks

Hi All Been given the task of re-designing/re-introducing/re-training our school SharePoint sites. While being quite an exciting project, it is also quite overwhelming as I want to launch it right, the first time. I think historically things have been done quite well but disjointedly with no obvious/easy workflow. We will be rolling out BYOD in September which we would like to use the student page as a repository for files. Currently, we have three sites parents/staff/students. I would like to merge the students and staff one to make it easier for staff to drop stuff in for students. Obviously, would need to change some privileges for this but I think this is reasonably doable. What im asking for really is: Does anyone have a best practice, do or donts that have setup SharePoint in the past? Any best practice regarding rolling out to staff/students to make sure it gets used correctly Anyone got examples of good sites they wouldn't mind me having a nose around? Very much open to ideas and thoughts, even if its just run away! Thanks

Thanks for the advice Sagima The problem is we are using the cash method of accounting so cant put it against bad debt. It feels like we have lost 5k though and this should come straight off our gross profit number? No idea how to write this if if its even allowed! Feels wrong to be paying the same tax though after losing money as well, all though I am most likely wrong. Thanks again
