Just woundering are the Win 7 machine that are causing the truoble 64 bit or 32 bit? If they are 64-bit the 32 bit driver may not work. Have you tried going to the Kyocera website to get the driver? Just to see if a fresh download of the driver will work. Do you still have the disc for the printer? I have always found that discs are very relaible. Can the computer is the printer? if yes check to see what driver is being used incase it is trying to use the demo printer driver. Hope this is of some help.

How warm is the room they are used in? I found a smialar problem with Dell OptiPlex but the room they where in was like a oven. We tried diffenerent things in the room but in the end never really got to the bottom of it. We did have a aircon in the room and it helped for a bit. You could ask users to turn off the computers when they are done. Sorry I could help.

Grey-gear replied to Sam_Brown's topic in MIS Systems
We have a group that all of the staff are members of and then that group is put into the power users of the computers that have sims on. -
Does not really surprise me, just hope something is done so this problem is fixed and will not happen again.

Giving a network user loacal admin rights
Grey-gear replied to MattDLEA's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
What we do is have a sims user group on our AD, add the two users to that group and what give that group full control of that folder on the computer. Also make the Sims group power users on the computer and full control of the C:\windows folder. -
I got tired of the Simpsons, ends up running similar stories and the characters rarely show any growth, both in their age and in the characters. If purgatory existes it may be like this show.

You problerly should but check with the manufacturer's website to see if there are any problems using the old drivers. Deploying the new driver could be an easy holiday job to have on the list.

What the admin staff have for case of a fire alarm is have all the forms regesters printed out and someone takes them to the assembly point, the schools gets the students to line up in their form groups so they can be signed in.
