Hello All, I have an issue with a printer on two desktops. I had installed at first a Kyocera 3050ci driver on these computers running on Windows 7. The printer was a demo and once it was taken back I installed our Kyocera FS-C2126MFP with the driver I have used on other computers. The issue is that now the FS-C2126MFP does not print for those two desktops. It prints for all other PCs but not those two. In the computer it shows as if the printer is up and running and when a print job is sent it shows as if it printed and completed the job. But on printer it shows as if no print job was received. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple time and nothing. I have tried restarting the spooler and nothing. I know that the PCs reach the printer because I can ping it. Also, other computers are printing just fine so it is not an issue with the printer. I have ran out of ideas. I am not sure if the driver of the demo Kyocera is interfering with the current one. Please advise on what I can try. Thank you

Hi, We have just purchased a C2800n epson laser got a good review off "computer shopper of all places! (also has print management software but I haven't tested yet. Anyway, It has the holy grail of school printing built right in there to the print driver watermark with username/computername/date/time/shoe size etc. I can set this up on the server print driver and it works a treat. But when users log in, (desktop authority maps the prints to the print server) the print driver they get is a blank default one with out all my lovely settings, how do I force the print driver the users get to be my version? Ta. Bob

Hello Everyone, We are having a very strange issue regarding printers:... We currently use a WSF script to map printers to clients. The problem is that on some clients the print spooler service will crash out and stop - the event log just says that the Print Spooler service terminated unexpectedly. This issue appears to be random as it seems to affect some computers and not others and some users. Every user has a mandatory profile specified so I don't think it is a profile issue. We have tried changing from a script method of mapping printers to using the Group Policy Preferences (Server 2008 R2) printer connections but this has not helped. We use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.7i for anti-virus - is there anyway that this could be affecting the mapping of the printers? Thanks in advance! J.Worth.
