  1. Hopefully the link in my earlier post will lead in that direction. Nice kit by the looks of it too.
  2. In my (Windows) experience I wouldn't trust it to do the job properly ..... Sadly not like Linux/Solaris where it just gets on with it and doesn't ask questions! Would expect Broadcom to have a utility for it, will have a nose now. EDIT: http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/management_applications.php
  3. I tend to use the Intel tool for this for our boxes. (Intel cards of course) - Network Connectivity — How do I use Teaming with Advanced Networking Services (ANS)? What nics are in your box?
  4. Of course it did! Blasted computers
  5. DNS? cat /etc/resolv.conf Try pinging out to say 8.8.8.8 to check you have routing in place.
  6. I don't believe Invisible matters; I have it on too but the admins can see us as I'm in the list that makes Dos_Box 1337 for seeing us with invisible on
  7. Hi there, This is expected behaviour on the Sun Ray 3i because it has a 1920x1080 HD fixed display resolution unlike the 270. If you tell us more about your application we might be able to help though 800x600 on a 1920x1080 panel will look awful. Thanks, Kim
  8. One behind now
  9. Bit more info would be useful in what are they seeing differently to the person it worked for?
  10. Hm, I wonder if it's using xdm instead of gdm. Can you see what X is running at the logon screen from a ps aux?
  11. Might be worth a look at - http://www.m00nie.com/2012/01/fedora-1516-xfce-auto-login/
  12. In my experience doing the sums and presenting the case of why (increasing efficiency through faster speeds, more reliable, cost effective, capable devices etc) to SLT tends to have this effect inherently. It's not nice taking from people but at the end of the day if you're trying to cut down on them for a good reason (ie, as above) it is a fair argument.
  13. Congratulations on another successful release Jo. I will aim to provide some feedback soon.
  14. Try sudo yourcommand or if it insists on a true root password (which is kind of not good) you'll want to run sudo passwd root (and put in your own password first for sudo, and then the one you want to use for root twice)
  15. Can't wait !
  16. Nobody touch it! Take a back up, quick!
  17. What's the URL? (PM if needbe) Has this suddenly started happening, or any third party plugins installed?

    Looking to get..

Normally worth a look at Overclockers.co.uk.
  19. Might be worth a look at Tracking DNS Record Deletion - Microsoft Enterprise Networking Team - Site Home - TechNet Blogs
  20. Eliminate the software by trying it as an admin, and if that works you know you're looking at user/ad permissions as opposed to coding issues.

    Backups

What equipment do you have available?
  22. Look in tsadmin(.msc) for the offending session and log it off. (depending upon server OS version)
  23. Can normally buy individual keys from Ebay for this kind of situation.
  24. Misread this thread as "anyone tried webcams for(as) pets" and wondered whether there was something I was missing about the companionship of a webcam.
  25. Hi yashabee, You're very welcome.
