No its not, you get a free period then have to pay (I think its about £6). Personally I got it to replace the default "Boxer" mail app that came on my phone because Boxer doesn't offer scheduling for email accounts, so I couldn't set work emails to only check Monday to Friday from 8 till 5.

I'ver been looking into the possibility of doing this for my users to, except keeping a local file server and also syncing with OneDrive to create a hybrid file server, and remove the single point of failure (e.g. the leased line, and associated bits). Although i woudl rather not be paying for anything, I am going to try the shareware version of FAQs - Layer2 Cloud Connector for SharePoint 2010/2013 and Office 365 Then see if it actually works, as it seems to do what I want it to do.

A friend of mine knows too well, as do I through experience. If you plug in the wrong serial cable in APC UPSes they have a tendency to turn off (its an interesting feature that causes no end of problems if you don't know about it). Your need to make sure you get the correct serial cable for your UPS, not any old cable. Apparently they are wired differently or something. So be careful No idea about using the RJ50 USB I'm afraid.

Patrick, if he is already paying his current loan off then he must be earnign enough to have to pay it. SLC has changed the terms and conditions multiple times over the years, depending on what the current governments thinking is. So different people have to pay at different levels of incomes, so for your loan you might not earn enoguh but others will earn enough and will have to pay back. Personally I disagree with Student Loans, I think it should be paid for through normal taxation but it isn't, so ignoring the letter about you owing money is hardly the best thing to do.

As soon as you start the course, the Uni charges the SLC (fo the first term) if they are paying your fees. If the SLC paid the Uni and then you essientally dropped out, I know it isn't that simple, then you are liable for the fees for that term. The Uni then will have notified the SLC and not claimed fees for the rest of the year. I think because you drop out the grants need to be paid, if you finish then you don't pay them. Either way there is three options, you could ignore them (it does work, event hough it shouldn't), you could contact them and arrange to maybe have it added to your outstanding loan balance (although why do you even have a loan if you never really went?) or contact them and pay it off in full. Personally I would do the 2nd one, on the basis that the first option is more risky, and they can get the money back in the end, they have something like 25 years to claim it. I wouldn't worry about it though, they aren't going to come with bailiffs to your house for it, and I don't think it would be reasonable for them to demand payment in full. My brother got grants for a course twice, and gave up twice, they got added to his loans, but he notified everyone when he gave up so was probably sorted differently.

Are people using redirected start menus? We never had done because I prefer that they get a modified copy of the start menu from that workstation, but in Windows 10 with Classic Shell on the start menu I get "Windows Powershell" and "Windows System". Neither are from the ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu folder. I assume they are coming from the users profile, we haven't yet set up a mandatory profile for Windows 10, and to be honest I was debating whether to use one or not, due to other issues around them within Windows 10. But I can't have those items appearing on the start menu whether they can be run or not.

Isn't that the one in EA Origin? Are you sure your keys can't be used in that to download the games

I probably have a spare one (maybe) It is a webserver that is being retired, it will support virtualisation but it is an old HP G5 slimline (I think). I finish for Christmas tomorrow (lunch time) though and won't have time to sort it out for then, I'm also in Manchester although I will be in Hull for a weekend at the end of January (I think) if you get no better offers.

Isn't Fallibroome also a slightly different setup though, heavily Opensource etc. The last job I saw there was advertised as needing to be an expert in Slackware Linux amongst other things. All the schools I know who do it are Apple.

I believe ESSA Academy in Bolton do, they use to anyway. If you contact them, they are usually happy to show you round. Stretford High School may also have 1 to 1 iPads as well but I can't remember if it is exactly that.

I have two house cats, they can both go out if they want. One does go out at weekends (as long as we go out with him for a few minutes, then he'll stay out as long it isn't to windy, it isn't cold or wet, basically he is fussy as hell). My other cat though, will only go out if its warm sunny (she jsut looks out the open door if it isn't), and you leave the door open so she can come back in when she pleases, if you shut the door, then within 30 seconds she'll be queing back at it. I think its because of how they were brought up, both were rescue cats. She was found on the streets (she was missing for 2 weeks) having escaped from her previous owner (who had adopted her from a deceased relative) after only 3 weeks. So I assume she has decided, inside is best, you get food, water and its warm, going out could means your lost again! My male cat was brought up as a house cat till we adopted him and let him go out when he wants, I think he just goes out because its like going somewhere he isn't allowed to, because he doesn't go far and comes in within an hour or so unless you are out as well (gardening for example). I rarely see him leave the garden (front or back) when he actually goes out.

Took me between an hour and 2 hours, I can't fully remember, I did it after work one day, still had some tea and managed to test it for a little bit. It has definitely made a difference, the card runs massively cooler, 3 hours or so into Bioshock and the card will be at abotu 60 degrees, as oppose to the good old 80 degrees and the fans are definitely quieter. There is a watercooled version you can do as well, which might make it even quiter, I have a big case so the case temperature is never to high.

I have a R9 290 and I bought as Artic Cooler for it because it was really starting to annoy me with the loudness of it! It has made a difference and wasn't so bad to do, was my first time! I bought a triple fan one and followed some guide online. If you already have a custom cooler on it through (as it not a stock one from AMD) then it will liekly make little difference.

I love AMD graphics cards, but the latest R9 300 series is a poor upgrade from the R9 200 series. They are loud and run hot, even at a better bang for buck I wouldn't want one int he same room as my TV, and i'm a big AMD fan. At the moment go for NVidia, although their next gen is out early next year I think, depending on how long you are willing to wait.
