[android] Samsung Galaxy S

Managed it but had to do it twice. Originally had problems with Kies running on 64bit Windows. I do like the phone but have found that the battery life is very poor if you do anything other than use it as a phone. ie browsing play games or watching movies whilst travelling. -
if you have a wsus setup then allow it and this will update all PC etc If not then a network share and a batch file will also work

Anyone use the built in 2008R2 backup software
Mcshammer_dj replied to edutech4schools's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Our scripts trigger the backup via scheduled tasks and create a log file which confirms the each volume has been backedup. Only wierd thing was that to get the RDX drive to work we needed to share the drive and sent to network location. This is because the system does not handle removable media very well. -
Virtualize 2 Servers? With VMWare? What Host OS?
Mcshammer_dj replied to BackCat3's topic in Windows
should not be that expensive. For our schools Server 2008 r2 enterprise is only £151.42 and this allows you to install host and then up to 4 virtual servers. -

You can use the command line and scripts. I have a couple of different jobs running each night which are scripted and then configured in scheduler -

When moving music on and off the device do you have to install and use iTunes to manage this? Since we have a lot of music on MP3 stored on the home PC (WinXP) she will want to be able to stick a lot of that on the iPod from day 1. Will it be easy / possible to import existing MP3's into iTunes (or point iTunes at it) and just get started fairly quickly? Yes Itunes will convert MP3's and then copy them straight to the iod Is iTunes freely (and legally) downloadable on the web that I could install it now and get the music imported prior to even getting the iPod - or do I have to wait until we have the iPod and install iTunes from a DVD? Yes it is free and you can get the system installed and running and convert the MP3's without the need to have the ipod connected Using the AppStore - there are paid for and free apps. Are the free ones any good and roughly how much does a half decent paid for app retail at? What video file formats does an iPod touch support? What top tips do people have for managing their iPod touch devices? get a good case for it,

if that name makes a "man" film then I guess every porn movie ever made should be added to the list!
