  1. Take a look at this - https://ccmexec.com/2018/09/how-to-show-oobe-for-azuread-join-after-osd-with-sccm/
  2. Fro when I had Meraki and tried to use a splash page, there were some Meraki IP ranges that had to be whitelisted and allowed unauthenticated traffic through. Meraki do have them listed on their splash page documentation. I’ve moved away from Meraki about 4 years ago so can’t be more help I’m afraid.
  3. Pinched off Facebook A genie granted me one wish, I said “ I just want to be happy” Now I’m living in a cottage with 6 dwarves and working in a mine
  4. We have moved our Shared Documents over to SharePoint and all working fine apart from some issues with opening files for Computer Sciences which when they download them, they are being Zipped. Normally not a problem, but I have blocked ZIP files for students as I was fed up of them downloading their OneDrive contents on a regular basis. So, I thought I would Map a network drive to the SharePoint site - and hey presto problem solved (well in theory) I've added the SharePoint site to Trusted sites in Internet Options GPO I have passthrough authentication enabled, so Edge logs in straight away to Office 365, but the Drive failed to Map at logon due to use being un-authenticated. Open Internet Explorer, run gpupdate and suddenly it works! Anyone know of a way I can get the SharePoint Site to map automatically at logon? Cheers
  5. Turned out to be windows machines built with 1909 of which I had a small number left to update - which was planned for Feb Half term. All 20H2 machines had no issues. Very strange indeed, no idea why the 1909 builds suddenly took a dislike to printers......
  6. Since coming back today, I have random machines refusing to connect to printers with error code 0x000011b and #238 Nothing has changed on these machines and they were working perfectly before we finished in December. I've checked and the update which caused a lot of printer issues isnt installed. I've check and that Point and Print is set correctly on these machines - They have the same settings as other known working computers in terms of updates/GPOs etc..... Anyone any other ideas I can look at? Cheers
  7. I’ve just come out and found two snakes on the front window of my car! That said they were excellent at clearing the rain, I think they must have been windscreen vipers
  8. Not really a dad joke but made me laugh
  9. I emailed them and got the following reply So, need to see if keeping on a perpetual outweighs switching to an annual subscription.
  10. Either I’ve had my head buried in the sand or totally missing this but just had an email Saying the upgrade to v18 is required by Q1 2022, due to the change of the 3CX FQDN endpoint! Anyone come across this? I emailed them back asking when in Q1 does the upgrade need to be in place and also that I’m not happy being forced into moving from a perpetual licence to an annual subscription model.
  11. Logged in this morning and all fine :-)
  12. So my smoothwall box has been warning me about the Guardian CA due to expire in 11 days.... so I have renewed, etc, get the HTTPS inercept to the new cert, cleared and restarted, and then deleted the old cert. However I am still getting warnings about the Guardian CA certificate due to expire - even after a full reboot. As you can see by the image, they are all in date - so not sure why I'm still getting the warning. Anyone any ideas - before I log a ticket with Smoothwall. Cheers.
  13. Our Xibo runs from a Linux VM and then we have NUCs on VESA mounts behind the screens running Windows to display the info etc. NUCs have impero on them so we can reboot them etc as required
  14. Do these come with intelligent charge modules?
  15. Just wondering how those who have already moved their Student Shared Docs to the SharePoint have organised things? Do you have a single SharePoint Site with a Single Document Library and then folders for departments or... Do you have a a single SharePoint Site with a Document Library per Department? or do you do it some other way? Cheers
  16. I’m not in until Thursday, so will drop you a PM with setup details when I’m back in if that ok.
  17. Thanks for all the replies. I’ll look at the LapCaddy ones. As these are going to be bookable, after the lesson they will be collected by us, checked, cleaned and plugged in again. Checked so any damages get noticed and any damages will be charged to last department who use them and also helps target possible student so did said damage. Cleaning them - well COVID….. Once all that has been done we will plug them in ready for the next lesson. Does reduce the amount of lessons the laptops are available during the day but since SLT took an entire IT suite just for 6th access means having to come up with alternative ideas/solutions.
  18. Morning all Have a batch of 30 laptops (Dell Latitude 3190) which are going to be possibly be used as a bookable resource. What Laptop Charge Trolley would people recommend - ideally some kind of smart charger to stop overcharging and battery damage.... Cheers
  19. Not using Smoothwall for BYOD or radius authentication. I am using a Windows NPS server to authenticate users for WiFi access. NPS then passes the Radius Accounting info across to Smoothwall to filter the users correctly according to their AD groups. I’m using NPS as I have 1 SSID for users and then use NPS to dynamically assign them to the different VLAN according to their AD group - so staff users connect to staff VLAN and student to students VLAN etc. Hope that makes more sense.
  20. I'm currently using SharePoint with the Wiki plugin - only IT Support have access and require MFA as it contains password etc.
  21. In the Directories section - showing as Radius Accounting.
  22. Sorry, should have said Radius Accounting - which used for Wifi access,- using a Windows NPS to authenticate uses as I have Dynamic VLAN assignment which Smoothwall doesn't handle and then sending Radius Accounting info to Smoothwall. We originally used Active Directory before moving to Idex and kept it in place as a belt and braces approach. Since we don't use Smoothwall for SSL VPN and for RADIUS authentication in the BYOD section, and we now use Idex for authentication, I'm assuming I can remove the Active Directory auth method. Am i Correct in thinking that? Cheers Mark
  23. Groups assigned by AD Groups - which are picked up by both idex and AD......
  24. Having come across a flagged issue with ping castle yesterday I was looking at the different authentication method I currently have on my Smoothwall box. I have Active Directory Idex Radius Azure For in premise stuff - I’m assuming I can now bin the Active Directory method as I’m now using idex?? Would people concur? Cheers
  25. Also Xibo here. Have a mixture of PowerPoint and webpages being displayed. Installation straight forward as there are plenty of guides out there. I get staff to email me their slides from a template we provide and we add them in and update the Xibo content. Should really be down to someone else but it only takes use a couple of mins to sort okie then we know it has been done right.
