  1. Why not use windows Hyper-V instead - much more user friendly and better integration with windows VM;s
  2. Have a look at Loxits wall to floor mounts https://loxit.com/shop/led-lcd-mounts/led-lcd-wall-mounts/fixed-height-wall-to-floor-mount-multi-position-up-to-130kg/ transfers the weight to the floor (and no floor drilling needed) used them loads when wall wouldnt take the weight (can get them to suit whiteboards or LED/LCD interactive screens) they also do electrically height adjustable which are great for SEN schools as make the ideal for mixed ages etc.
  3. Do you run Hyper-V - spin up a linux bos (centos or ubuntu) and then install a webmin module and a MySQL module and away you go. Set up 1 DB per pupil with seperate logins. Alternatively Spin up a windows VM and install WAMP and use that? Several ways to skin a fish.......

Also have a google about it.

  14. Dont forget that virtually none of the home ISPS support QOS anyway so as soon as the traffic leaves her home it would be subject to normal internet latency and the router wont help.

  20. Its to do with a name mismatch have a look at https://www.digicert.com/internal-domain-name-tool.htm gives you some useful info and a tool to make the change. You may need to create a DNS zone as well but the blog attached to the above helps.

  23. Check on disaster recovery/backups plans and ensure they are up to scratch as if the s*** hits the fan it will be you it hits. Look at planning some staff/team meetings and appraisals/catchups with your team and help them develop like it sounds you have managed to. Look carefully at budgets and always squirrel away a little cntingency under a suitable sneaky budget heading (or headings to spread it out) - look for and make savings where you can. Hope they help a little!
  24. Some usb 3.0 ports dont seem to work with smartboards, as others have said try a usb Hub or another (ideally usb 2.0) port on the laptop
