  1. Depends - if you are using integris G2 (web based) then it has a built in web app for ipads (works very well actually)
  2. Unifi can be run with a controller in the cloud (although this doesnt need to be on for normal operation necessarily anyway in some setups) a lot more bang for your buck and no ongoing costs (subject to hosting.)
  3. What about a USB extension and move the receiver higher up/closer to the presenter?
  4. Are you trying to do the autodiscover from externally? have you enabled outlook anywhere? what message do you get when logging into OWA?
  5. Are you specifying the domain name when you log on eg domain\username? and what happens with autodiscover - have you created the autodiscover dns record?

  13. look at asterisk/trixbox and get a pbx interface card for an FXO line, OpenVox A400P01 - 1 FXO and then add ip phones as needed (grandstream are good phones for the price)

  15. Could just be a static charge build up, some wheels on some carpets seem to act like a van der graf generator and charge the metal of the trolley. is it only after its been wheeled around that it gives shocks?

  20. For just a DC/DNS/DHCP type server then yes absolutely fine.
  21. Check your DNS entries are pointing to correct and active Domain controllers.
  22. Look at Ubiquiti Unifi - lots of threads on here about it. "Bang for Buck" its brilliant - particularly for primaries.
  23. A lot of follow me printers are RFID rather than magstripe (in fact a lot of door entry systems/time logging etc are all RFID too) so the mag stripe may not be needed and may make it cheaper.
