  1. If they don't accept paypal due to fee's, I always think it's suspicious, as you build the fee's into the Postage and Packaging. I would have paid by crossed cheque, as the account can be traced and police and trading standards informed. Both ebay and your bank will mostly likely do nothing. How does you're bank know why you sent the money, and the pitiful "protection" you get from paypal doesn't extend to ebay. Why not post the sellers ebay name on here, and if you managed to get his phone number too! Do you have a postal address for him? Please don't say it was in Lagos!!!
  2. I'm looking forward to putting my feet up for 6 weeks! Staff "expect" me to be in, fixing things... imaging desktops etc, put I'm not paid to be in, and you never see a teacher in over the hols (science dept... I'm looking at you....)!
  3. If you pay a McWage, I hope you realise that you'll get a McTechnician. Pay peanut, you get monkeys! No one who has any experience is going to want a job that pays £10k!

  15. have you not considered a linux virtual machine. Both Suse and Redhat will run on Virtual PC 2007. other wise, there are a few "windows lite" and windows look alikes available. Why not use the xp pro you have and just remove the bloatware?
  16. There is a section in the Staff area that deals with this. Usually the mods are quick at sorting stuff out. With regards to the advertising (nor not) of providing web design (which is what I think you're alluding to Contink), this matter is already under discussion.
  17. @contink It's insulting that they think they can get away with it!
  18. If it's not in the job description.... I personally have nothing to do with SIMS, so it's an admin job here.
  19. I have used our keys to build machines from scratch, so that can't be true in all cases!
  20. sounds like DNS to me!

I saw that Tekken was coming on the Wii, I wondered how the heck they were going to implement that with the controlers!
