Wow, the_apprentice, what an insensive stuck up pr1ck you are! My heart bleeds for you, you poor little, overpaid teacher. No wonder you need 1/3 of the year off. How wonderful the job of an ICT technician is.... Low Pay Little chance of REAL promotion Dealing with egotistical jerks Then having to do some REAL work as well! Well, no one asked you, so go and bury your head back in the sand, telling yourself how wonderful you are, and how no one can compare to you.

when you say Network+ books, what specifically are you looking for? Something that deals with networking, or only the network+ books? I have some fantastic books on networking, and only 2 of them are Network+ books, so unless your doing a course on those books, there are some other books that I could recommend as I'm using them at Uni myself.

Anyone heard what will happen with Evesham kit & warranties?
StewartKnight replied to tosca925's topic in General Chat
historically what has happened in the past is, companies have "taken on" the warantees of companies that have gone bust, and sold warantees to the customers. Esentially, buy one warantee... pay for two! -
At least I got the reference Jake.... does that make me a sad IT geek? Probably!

The wife likes house, and we watched a couple of series, one episode a night. Trouble was.... I started treating the teachers like house does Foreman, Chase and Cameron! We've now watched the 3rd series *cough* and she who must be obeyed has already scheduled 25th September as a do not disturb day!

I've just come across a video of the ICT teacher at my school on YouTube. The video says he's "losing it", but to be honest, I think he's quite calm (well, compared to usual). He can be a real stress head though, so I'm in two minds about telling him... what does everyone else think?

StewartKnight replied to Adam's topic in General Chat
I thought we were trying to discourage regional Edugeeking, and go for a more holistic approach! -

hopefully you should find it a bit more mature than that. If you can, get hold of some of the books you'll be studying, and start reading them!
