  1. Take a look at the service location ensure that this is setup DNS settings is your next step, try specifying dns settings in windows this helps speed things up usually.
  2. http://pcs.suite101.com/article.cfm/ie_default_download_location try the above site added the key change to a login script, remember google is your friend.
  3. To test if its the wait for logon issue i removed the netware client and logged in to ad and this didnt show the same issues. So is there away for the Gina (think thats what its called) to be loaded as the machine starts so that when the user gets to the ctrl + alt + del stage the login box appears swiftly
  4. If its a tosh mini card, you wont be able to get a firmware update and will end up having to by a adapter as they do not support the new wirleess security there is a patch from microsoft to enaable it though if the card supports it
  5. How quick the login box appears it seems to take an age.
  6. Is it possible to speed up the log in box, its one of those things thats now starting to bug me so if anyone has any ideas other than purchase new hardware then let me know.
  7. Set Wait for network in GPO see if that helps. cant remember the exact path but will look if you need me to.
