To test if its the wait for logon issue i removed the netware client and logged in to ad and this didnt show the same issues. If its a tosh mini card, you wont be able to get a firmware update and will end up having to by a adapter as they do not support the new wirleess security there is a patch from microsoft to enaable it though if the card supports it

How quick the login box appears it seems to take an age.

I help run a small network which has 27 computers on the domain and one 2k3 server now i can remotely access all computers and shut them down apart from 2 now they all have the domain admins group added to the local admin account and all pull through the group policys any ideas on why these two wont ? After a bit of testing i got the file to work the user had permissions over the domain and local admin permissions, but i still have to right click the batch file and run as administrator! any way i thought no matter i will use compatibility in the shortcut to set it to always run as admin but this option is greyed out so anyone got any ideas to enable this i am guessing somewhere vista block bats being set to auto admin, any one ?

i will give it a go i can excute all normal shutdown etc from run line its just batch files it hates
