If it uses the DAAP protocol (like most other NAS drives), then probably not. If you want to try it, set up a ubuntu virtual machine (a live session should do) then install either mt-daapd/firefly media server or forked-daapd (most nas systems I've seen use mt-daapd/firefly)

It's been like that for months (since June/July I think). I seem to remember people saying you could change your password using the qriocity account management system. Also there was a firmware update recently which you will need to install before accessing the PSN.

I've just tried this on a server 2008 machine and it worked for me: Thanks to DThornton123 from this page . However the method can be bypassed fairly easily though, so I'd think of this as a temporary solution. It will block both the http and secure sites for facebook (as if you set the destination IP as 127.0.0.1 (localhost), the machine will try to connect to it self and present the user with a site not found error or a 404 page if the machine has a web server installed) for all computers that use that DNS server to perform lookups.

You could also block facebook.com by modifying the DNS records on your server (eg adding an A record which points facebook.com to 127.0.0.1). As far as I know, only the commercial versions of smoothwall can intercept/block HTTPS.

The iPhone configuration utility is a handy program as it allows you to use a computer to input the key and other settings into a profile (handy if you have a long/complex password) which you can then add to any ipod touch/iphone (and probably the ipad as well)

Did you burn the ISO on a slow speed? I find that burning OS ISOs on a higher speed can lead to all kinds of weird and wonderful errors from missing files to installs hanging.

Although not released yet, OpenMediaVault looks promising and is based on my preferred Linux distro, Debian. I think OMV was created by one of the freenas devs. however my microserver currently runs VMware ESXi (4.1, haven't got around to upgrading to 5.0 yet) so that I can use it to test out stuff.

I've got a strange issue with my HTC wildfire (standard HTC 2.2.1 f/w) where it will try to connect to my home network, but fails. It has worked fine up until now, but now it just gets it self stuck in a loop (connecting to network > authenticating to network > obtaining IP from network > disconnected). All other devices work fine (ipods, laptops and games consoles). I have tried two different brands of router/WAPs (netgear dg834gv5 and some ancient belkin) with varying levels of security from unsecured networks to WPA and WPA/WPA2 secured networks. Wifi channels have been changed without success. I've even reset the spare DG834Gv5 i have to it's default settings without any luck. Is there anything else I can try before sending it for repair?
