are you sure you have stuff downloading from the store? If you do, then you should see the download management option between internet search and life with playstation. If you don't then it doesn't appear until a download is started

Network > download list/pending downloads > press triangle on each demo you wish to delete> select delete.

On 10.04LTS I've got the option to open a new tab (ctrl+alt+t). Does it still do the same thing when you press ctrl+shift+n to open a new window?

I think if you have your original PS3 that you created the PSN account on it will do that, but if you have another PS3 (due to your original PS3 failing for example) then you get an email asking you to change it on a computer.

turns out it didn't like something about the TV it was originally set up on. I reset the output settings on another TV and it seems to work fine on SD now (until I can get another HDMI cable). Thanks for the suggestions though

Hi All, I've been given a new 360 slim to try and troubleshoot as it only gives sound output on SD (tested on 2 TVs) , but works fine over HDMI (only on one tv but haven't tried the other). Is it a faulty console or a faulty av lead? I also have no spare leads as I'm a PS3 person myself. Thanks for reading, c_e

I managed to disinfect a machine with avast on, but malwarebytes did a great job at removing it along with other nasties. Fortunately the variation that was on the infected computer didn't run in safe mode and didn't change the proxy settings either.
