  1. But where on the cat would you connect the adapter?.... Oh...Oh no...
  2. At first I thought, meh.. not that rapid. Then I saw it actually folded them and you just load it with paper, I thought that's amazing.
  3. Funnily enough, I've already tried that. We have some Dell laptops that need a good tap in the right spot to knock the connector back in from time to time.
  4. Do you have an image of it? Something similar happened to my niece's iPad2. Couldn't get it working. It looked to me to be similar to when a monitor has a loose connection so presumed it was that.
  5. I can believe that. Not ours however, our use harvested rain water been all green and that.
  6. Yeah... because that's why I don't want to drink it.
  7. We have our green roof webcams, weekly calendar for clubs and groups, info for parents, a clock and the weather. We also have photos form recent events/trips displayed when needed. In the IT/Buildings office we have a separate layout that includes how many open tickets there are on the helpdesk for each department.
  8. Not sure there's any way around this is there? I know the text region can have a transparent background but I've not found a way to remove a websites BG for example. I believe the Linux python client can remove backgrounds though.
  9. Does the server key on the client match what is on the admin interface?
  10. What does the Xibo admin interface say for the status of the screen?
  11. Is the new layout a new layout or has the old layout been edited. If it's a new layout has it been scheduled to that screen or set as the default for that screen? Could it also be a permissions / space issue on the client?
  12. The client checks for a new design at set intervals. I think the default is about 5 minutes. Closing and reopening the client should force it to get the new layout.
  13. I hope so now. Also need a t-shirt with this on to match last years.
  14. Count me in. I'll PM you my details (in case you've forgotten them) From reading the small print will there be no more "Bring Me The Box!"
  15. This is one of my background images. The way I do it is draw a box onto my background image for where the region will go. Looks OK when it's on the screen.
  16. We are/were in a very similar situation. We had Dell 3110s in each classroom that were costing far too much. We've just started a pay-per-print contract with Konica for three MFDs, one per floor, with follow me printing. So far seems to be working well. The calculated savings are quite high.
  17. +1 for multiple monitors. I struggle to work now without two or more monitors.
  18. If you created a new OU under the year 12 on that changed the background that one would take priority I think.
  19. give Learn to code | Codecademy as look
  20. It's something to do with the fact that bacteria can't penetrate very far into the meat so searing the outside gets them. At least that's what I've always been lead to believe. It's completely possible that it's bull poop.
  21. A few teachers here have used them with the outer plastic removed, to expose the colourfull inner cables to decorate the space themed corner in their classroom.
  22. Just finished setting up my new desk / setup
  23. This is how I do it. A 24 port patch panel above and below a 42 port switch
  24. Here's one of my desks.
