We have a one card at a time magicard which is good but like said it would be a nightmare doing 1600 cards on it. They do however do printers where you stack a pile of cards in and off it goes.

I'm planning on getting married in Florida April 2013. You'll have to let me know what it's like . Nothing special this year apart from wedding planning stuff.

Hi Thanks, Yes, that's what I'm trying to achieve but automatic emails, and only if a parent has signed up/entered their email. Similar to subscribe to post on here but for specific catagories or sections in joomla.

Hi All, Does anyone know of or can recommend a Joomla plugin that would allow parents to sign up to receive email alerts for certain sections or categories? I've had a Google with most results having been about paid subscriptions/accounts. Anyone got any suggestions on how to achieve this? Thanks, Dan

I do this all the time. I've made a button box to press a specific key stroke. Big red button wired up to the correct points on a keyboard circuit and boxed up. Works a treat.

If it's the same guys I've seen they've done a few different old GB games, this must have been by far the most complex though.

Hi all, I've done a search for similar posts but nothing has really answed my problem. A teacher has several smartboard files which have the extension .nbk. We have promethean boards with activinspire. Now I know inspire can open smart notebook files, but this only seems to be .xbk and .notebook. My questions are: Is .nbk a newer file format that inspire wont open or is it an old file format that no one bothers with anymore. and Is there any free way of opening a .nbk file (I've tried Smart Notebook Express but this will only open .notebook files). Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Dan

I work london rd. area so I'm near enough city centre and have to go through it to get to the parkway to go home. Other than that I very rarely go to town due to lack of parking and hatred of busses.

Maybe then. According to news it's been quite a good turnout in the city centre. Only problem is I have to drive through it hopefully it will have cleared by then.

Meadowhall is always snided this time of year anyway. I'd be interested in seeing how the sales of the city centre compare to usual as that's where most of the striking people are.

Caused me some right hassle on the journey to work yesterday. The diversion was pretty much my route to work. Hopefully there won't be a shortage on the shelves. .

Purplemash is an online package similar to education city etc. so apart from a browser and flash you don't need to roll anything out. As for their install packages I've no idea.

Hi, We use it here, and from what I've seen it's well used (certainly by one particular teacher). Currently windows XP and our IT suite has 26 PCs so that's the most I've seen in use. It always seems to need the latest flash player though, and I mean the latest as soon as it's released. It seems like that anyway. If you want me to find out any more info let me know and I can ask staff that use it what they think its strengths/weaknesses are.

I use OSTicket, works well as logging and signing off jobs etc. but lacks reporting (time took to complete etc.)

Hi All, We have a Home/School agreement that parents need to sign but we only want to send one per household and have the students' names listed. Hope that sheds more light onto it. I'm going to have a play around with these suggestions to see what I can manage. Thanks, Dan

Hi All, I'm wanting to produce a report to use in a mail merge. I need to produce a letter that lists all student names at one address. I'm sure it's easy done I just can't see how and my brain isn't working today. Is there a way to produce this out of SIMS or would it be easier to go into excel and do additional stuff in there? Thanks all, On the network I've inherited it's a mixture of both, some OUs have one far all and some OUs have many doing little things. Basically it's a bit of a mess so I'm going to be starting from scratch with 2008r2 and think I'll go down the Many route. Thanks again,
